The atmosphere is totally relaxing and I would heartily recommend Ardtara to anyone that wants to get away from it all and have the time and space to chat. Also the breakfast is great and i...

Just spent two wonderful days at Ardtara house. If you are looking for a busy hotel with spa then this is not for you. The hotel has nine bedrooms and all but one have gas fires. We had the chance to check out other rooms and all are individually furnished. We were in room 3 which although not refurbished was...

Can't rate our 3 night stay here over New Year highly enough. We were late arriving from Heathrow as our flight was delayed, but this was not a problem and we arrived at nearly 9pm, freshened up and had a lovely meal. Chef came out to chat and welcome us. Our room was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. Food throughout...

My wife and stayed at Ardtara on the week before Christmas for two nights. The rooms are tastefully decorated with antique furnishings - a pleasant change from the modern plastic soulless hotels that are common in every city. The room was very large and airy and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet location and is certainly...
