A magnificient hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. The whole experience was almost like a dream. Excellent place in the border of a quiet and peaceful beach. I had such a good time here for two nights !

I really enjoyed my stay at Almonds and Corals Hotel. It is very nice if you like nature as you are immersed in the jungle. I saw many native animals and the vegetation is lovely. The dinner buffet is very nice and made up of local cuisine. The breakfast buffet is also superb as you can request eggs they they...

The hotel is not really good. The main problem was the expectations we had due to the photos from its webpage, so you pay a lot for not a great hotel. It's in the midde of the forest which is nice if you like the nature and it has an own beach. The hotel requires maintenance because it has been...

We just spent 2 nights at this hotel arranged by Swiss Travel. This hotel may have been nice 10 years ago but don,t be fooled. The pictures that you see are FALSE. This place should be closed down due to serious lack of maintenance. Boardwalks are covered with mold, rotten and missing in some places.. Vegetation needs to be cleared in...

We (family of 5) spent two nights at this hotel. It is far from new, but kept in good condition. Huts are in the forest very close to one another so one has to keep noise level down at night. The beach by the hotel is not swimming friendly due to rip tides. The staff are very friendly and love...

What a run down s**t hole. I can't believe they charge $145 per night. There is zero privacy in the bathroom, literally no door just a curtain that closes. Let me just go ahead and list the issues we found: There was a rat in the cabin. The ceiling fan is so gross and rusted, that it can fall off...

First of all I have lived in costa Rica for 4 years, I travel all over the country many times over. I like nice things, this place looks nice in the pics... When you get there everything is run down!! Mold and slimy walkways with no lights after 12am to laminate the way to your room. The room it self...

We stayed here as a 'treat' during our 3 week holiday in CR. Please don't waste your money. It's crap. We complained on check out and asked to speak to the manager about a partial refund because the receptionist was not able to authorise it and as the $145 price tag for the room was ridiculous once we realised how...

My wife and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon stay on the Caribbean. It was the worst decision of our trip. The idea of this place is good, but the execution is disastrous. The rooms are not as good as they appear in the website photos, by a long shot. Beds are too firm. Bathroom is nothing special. We...

Maybe good in high season, but not the off season... We came here because we thought it was one of the best options in town. The room was nice, even thought it is kind of a tent with low privacy. You really feel in the middle of the jungle, you can hear the monkeys and other animals from 4:30 am,...
