My friend and I stayed at Congo Bongo for only two nights this February 2017. Although our stay was short, boy was it sweet! I cannot say enough about our positive experience here. This was by far my favorite place I have visited in Costa Rica. The owner and his family were incredibly friendly and helpful for our every need...

My husband and I went to the Congo Bongo in February 2017 and the owner Marisol was wonderful. The homes are beautiful and the experience of living in an open air concept is amazing. Being in contact with nature is a calming experience. The private beach offers access to a perfect walking beach and the waves were wild and lots...

We stayed ten days at this wonderful resort. The owners and staff were great and took very good care of us. Offered ideas on things to do, restaurants and selected local guides. The accommodation is magical living room outdoors but still secure at night. The wild life and birds are amazing.

I had the privilege of spending 10 days at Congo Bongo for my second time. The first time was a personal Holiday and this past December was for my business! I chose Congo Bongo for my very first Fitness Vacation With a group of 7 ladies! It was perfect! The staff at Congo Bongo went above and beyond my expectations...

This property is the perfect mix of rustic and comfort. I stayed in the Big House - more space than I needed as a solo traveler, but it was what was available for the time I needed. I stayed for 3 days at the end of a longer trip, and wanted a place where I could avoid crowds and do...

We stayed in the long house it was very beautiful and spacious with a great view into the jungle. We did not see or hear from the houses around us. Although the friendly housekeeper lives next door which made us feel a little more secure.

From the unique architecture to the whimsical sculptures that dot the carefully maintained jungle landscape, you can tell the owners' pride in this amazing spot. Daan runs a lovely, peaceful place with access to the beach amid tropical trees and flowers, where wildlife abounds. Cooking in that open kitchen every morning with hummingbirds zooming by was magical. Our housekeeper Katia...

We had such a memorable stay at our Big House! The kids could not get over the amount of creatures that they could discover while mom cooked breakfast! The house was clean and the owners were so kind and generous! We loved it!

We had a lovely stay! We could hear the waves crashing from our beds. I love the architecture. You can see the jungle from the shower! The sounds of crickets lulled us to bed. We heard howler monkeys daily. They did our wash daily! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! I want to come back!

We finally made it to Costa Rica & had a great experience staying in the Jungle! We stayed in the Long house which was very nice! The house is beautiful with the feeling of being outside since it is all open. I loved lounging in the hammock. I really thought the mosquitoes would be terrible but I never got one...
