Really chilling atmosphere. Nice lodges with eye for detail. In the middle of the jungle 100m from the beach. Every thing was fine except for the hot-water boiler for the shower. It kept on breaking down. Specially when my wife wanted to take a shower. They fixed it a few times but always with a smile. If you can, spend...

We had a 3 bedroom house. The owner and Ernesto try to make everything accommodating. The cell phone they provide is helpful. Loved Susie the cat and Coco the dog. Some concerns are bugs. It's my own fault for not thinking through the open concept. When you have lights on, after 6 pm, when it is dark, the bugs come...

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, with total privacy, safety and comfort. We enjoyed our stay .. many thanks !! Its location is privileged access from the house to a beach area near where small supermarkets and restaurants are located. Beautiful place.

We stayed at three locations in Costa Rica which is our norm when traveling out of the country. Our only regret this trip is that we did not stay longer at Congo Bongo. We only stayed here two nights. We definitely want to go back.

LOVED it!! We traveled with my husband, myself, and our 3 kids ages 9,9, and 11. The open floor plan made us feel like we were in the jungle. The kitchen was well enough equipped for us to cook all 9 days and nights, 3 meals a day. The walk through the jungle to our own beach was fantastic!! Howler...

Our stay at the Deluxe Dream House was unbelievably beautiful, relaxing, serene, well-appointed, and overall just perfect for us. My wife and I really felt like we were in the middle of the jungle, with bird calls and howler monkeys howling all around us. Yet the layout of Dan's property makes one feel safe, and though the design of the...

6 of us stayed in the river house over spring break. The kids loved exploring the jungle, and it was plenty comfortable for us. Great people, beautiful place, awesome beach. We took flashlights out at night to explore the jungle and We where able to spot all kinds of creepy crawly things. All around fun!!

Our family had one of our best experiences and vacations to date in this incredible paradise of house! You are literally in the middle of a beautiful rain forest with all the sounds of the jungle directly overhead! This was our first time in Costa Rica and we are so happy that we chose this particular house to spend our...

Congo Bongo is beautifully situated in a natural area with huge trees, lots of wildlife, and artfully designed accommodations. Marisol was very welcoming. She gave us a basket of eggs from her own chickens and a tour of the property. She pointed out many birds and animals we would have otherwise missed (monkeys, a sloth, exotic birds, etc). The property...
