We stayed at Donour Lodge for a week on a family holiday. Firdtly the lodge's owners couldn't have been more helpful. The lodge itself is spacious and the 7 of us that were staying there had ample room to live in without being on top of each other. We have stayed in numerous holiday homes for a week or so... More

We recently stayed with 3 families in Donour lodge - a fantastic location and destination for family vacation. Mary and Chris - the houseowners - were extremely friendly, helpful and very hospitable. The lodge is very comfortable, well equipped and provides plenty of space. Everything was very clean and tidy. The big and nice garden completes this great place to... More

Fabulous accommodation suitable for all 11 of us with still plenty of space. Surrounded by oustanding natural beauty! Arrived to the lovely smell of turf burning on the wood burning stove and greeted by the lovely Chris & Mary. Highly recommended!

We just returned from a vacation week at Donour Lodge. The house was a perfect setting to enjoy Fanore as well as day trips to sightseeing locations throughout County Clare. The house was perfect with bedrooms and bathrooms on both the upper and lower floors, multiple living areas, and a fully stocked kitchen if you prefer to make meals at... More

The house is stunning, spotless and has all you need including washing machine and tumble dryer. The grounds and surrounding area is stunning, Chris and Mary who own the property are a lovely friendly helpful couple. There... More

We stayed at this B&B and found it great. Mary (owner) was very helpful in planning our time there and we enjoyed her suggestions. The accommodations were great for a family of four. All was clean and very comfortable.

We wondered if we would find this place. It is nestled on the edge of the ocean (separated by a small pasture with grazing cattle) behind a large camping (caravan) site on a winding narrow road. We were on our way from the Cliffs of Moher to Galway and wanted to see the Burren Peninsula, so this worked well. The... More
