We stayed at the Orchid House for one night in June and we were delighted with our experience. The room was clean and comfortable and included coffee and tea. The shower was one of the best we experienced in Ireland with great pressure and plenty of hot water. The wifi worked well and parking was easy. Best of all were... More

We spent two nights in the Orchid house. We had a nice, spotless clean room, with a view right to the Atlantic. Every morning we enjoyed a warm breakfast ,ordered the night before. Pat and Gill were so helpfull in advising us where to go,what to do. We had two wonderfull sunny days in the Burren.

This is the second year we have stayed at the Orchid House. Jill and Pat are awesome hosts. Very friendly people! They offer great advice and provide you with books and pamphlets to use. Oh, and did I mention the breakfast? Three or four choices: scrambled eggs with salmon or bacon, crepe pancakes, yogurts and cereals, coffee and juice! The... More

Fanore is a one pub village, don't blink or you'll miss it! BUT it has a great First class Irish B&B, not fancy but clean, well appointed and most importantly, it has wonderful hosts in Jill and Patrick. Proof of its excellence is the repeat customers they enjoy. While I was there was one repeating couple staying for 16 days,... More

We stayed here two nights. It's in a lovely, semi-isolated wind-swept stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way, but is convenient to both Doolin and Ballyvaughan. Our hosts were warm and welcoming, and the hospitality was truly excellent. We were really made to feel at home. The rooms were a very good size, warm and comfortable. There was also good wifi,... Nice rooms and atmosphere, beautiful view to the sea, spotless clean bed- and bathrooms. And a delicious breakfast, you can choose between several things like scrambled eggs bacon or pancakes. (The homemade pancakes are 👌🏼) The hosts were open minded, helpful for planning trips and suggested restaurants and pubs for eating. Fanore is in the heart of Burren and very close... More

B&B is located right at the coast of the small, sweet village Fanore. From our room we had a phenomenal sea view and could watch the sunset. A comfortable, neat room with a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. Originally we planned to stay in Doolin but we are lucky that by accident we found this nice B&B in Fanore. Fanore... More

So there are not many lodging choices in Fanore, which maybe is part of the charm of the town. Jill runs a quiet B&B with a beautiful view of the ocean and her own backyard garden. Her reading library is a treasure trove of the wonders the lie just around and up the hill. From the golden shores of Fanore... More
