I stayed here for one night as part of a group trip to Patagonia. The tour company chose it. The route from Ushuaia to anywhere north is long and tortuous. This place is just a short ride from the ferry from the mainland and in Chile. The town is nowhere you will probably visit but for a stopover it works...

I stayed here one night on a road trip through Southern Patagonia. The service was friendly and my room was very clean and comfortable. The real standout, however, was the exceptional dinner my friends and I enjoyed. The chef made a delicious multi-course meal; it was one of the best ones I had while in Patagonia!

For a tiny town, this hotel was a pleasant surprise - clean and comfortable room. The restaurant is run by a very welcoming chef, and the food was excellent. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast; the quality and quantity exceeded our expectations. The hotel serves the gas industry workers, so the restaurant can get busy.

This hotel hosts a lot of the local workers which makes it noisy. They also accept only cash. The restaurant was good, simple and cheap. Room was small but clean and it had a surprisingly good wifi connection.

We stopped here for a night whilst heading to Ushuaia. The smell of gas in the air outside made me think that the hotel would be basic, but it was a nice surprise. Large, warm rooms and good sizes bathroom. Food here was really good and homemade by staff. Many truckers stay here on their way across Chile etc. Would...

This hotel and restaurant is in the middle of nowhere. However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised with both my hotel room and meal at the restaurant. My room was very clean with a modern bathroom and comfortable bed and bedding. The restaurant is separate from the hotel but is only 30 steps or so to walk. The restaurant is quite...

The hosteria is very well appointed and the rooms are very modern and clean. Cerro Sombrero is a very small town, and this is the obvious place to stay, though there is a hostal just up the road. The management spoke only Spanish, and we got along fine with my schoolboy standard language skills, but we did not hear a...

We arrived in Cerro Sombrero on bicyles at about 2 in the afternoon in a rainstorm and when we arrived the hotel was full and resturant closed. The owners of the hotel went to the kitchen and made us sandwiches. We looked all over town and there was no other decent rooms. The owners of the hotel broght 2 beds...
