We stayed here for 2 days, such idyllic surroundings. Ian and Trish are lovely, very warm and welcoming. Lovely breakfast, would definitely recommend the fluffy pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, yummy! Would love to go back Asap.

Firstly would I stay again or recommend it Yes! A warm welcome for you. Breakfast has a good variety although was slightly disappointed as have had better. Bed comfortable and rooms very clean. Showers are an inherited issue to be addressed. Had to wait for hot water a couple of times as ran out. There is a lounge and courtyard...

I have just had a delightful stay at Wayside Cottage Burley. The bedroom was spotless and the breakfast was a delight. Trish served up lots of vegetarian dishes during my stay from fluffy cheese omelette served with wilted spinach to chocolate and banana bread topped with fresh fruit and crème fraiche. There were warm croissants each morning and home-made flapjacks...

New owners Ian and Trish were lovely hosts and very welcoming and helpful during our stay. They recommended a great pub that served really good food (the whitebuck inn) just a 5 min drive away from the cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful with the wisteria in full bloom covering the front of the cottage. The twin room I shared...

Disappointing. Beautiful house from the outside. Inside very tired. Cleanliness and tidiness could be greatly improved. Owners probably immune to it but the smell of dog is quite offensive. Feeling as a guest was rather cold? As i say disappointing.

Very welcoming B&B. The room was lovely- very comfy beds, nice decor and lovely view over the beautiful front garden. Only minor negative was the water pressure in the shower was awful so it was a really trickly weak shower (although very hot). Location is great and there's some great cycling out of burley. Also are in a couple of...

Stayed at the Wayside for 3 nights, Janet and John were excellent hosts, when we arrived we were shown to our room a lovely four poster bed over looking the front. We were also greeted with a pot of coffee and cake. The Wayside is in the heart of Burley just minutes from walks and cycles riding.

A Beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting. We arrived to delicious homemade cake and a pot of tea. Janet and John are very warm and friendly people and they have two delightful little dogs. The only noise you hear is the birds singing, which was just perfect. Our room was lovely, had everything you needed. The breakfast was amazing, all...

This cottage was delightful in every way. It felt as though one was stepping back in time as it was in a peaceful area, the cottage itself was so attractive and the hosts very welcoming. The New Forest is a beautiful part of England made more so by the roaming horses which are seen everywhere. I would recommend this place...

A warm welcome, with tea and cake still warm from the oven. Very comfortable room, although shower (over bath) not great. Very good breakfasts (homemade bread, jam). Great location, interesting village and good local walking (& cycling looked good)
