My son and his fiancee treated my mum and me to afternoon tea at Burley Manor as a birthday present! From the time we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and the lounge where we had our tea was very relaxed and comfortable. The entire hotel has been refurbished in the last year and the decor is really... More

We recently got married at Burley Manor Barn and it couldn't have been more perfect. The hotel and barn are beautiful - it really was the most perfect setting for our big day. The barn is tucked around the back of the hotel with its own lawn, which makes it very private - exactly what we were after so we... More

Our stay at Burley Manor was for a big birthday treat, and we were not disappointed. From check in, to a lovely warm room with a great view of the Deer, it was just perfect. Very comfortable bed and a excellent breakfast, with a very extensive choice. Burley Manor is very well situated for visiting all surrounding areas, be it... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the deluxe room near the barn. Amazing views over deer park. Staff very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful room, comfortable bed and pillows, (including the Z-bed for our daughter), superb food and an amazing barn for the wedding reception. Would definitely return. Thank you.

I am getting married here next June and decided to road test the venue to see how it faired. Check in was fast and friendly, our room was ready slightly earlier than expected. Laura on reception was helpful and offered us help with our luggage and helped us with general information. The hotel and grounds are stunning and have been... More

Whilst visiting Burley in the New Forest we called into this hotel for drinks in the bar. It is a beautiful building and easy to find, well signposted from the road. There is a car park and it is an easy walk through into the hotel where the staff were friendly and welcoming. Inside there is a huge fireplace in... More

We had a lovely Autumn weekend at the Burley Manor. Terrific food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner, great beers behind the bar and lots of different spaces to soak up all the guests so it feels very private. We loved the fact it was doggy friendly - though perhaps not everyone would... Easy walking distance to Burley high... More

We stayed for 3 nights last month. The welcoming fire in reception smelt lovely. Our room was in the old house at the top. We had a gorgeous view of the deer roaming in the park. I loved the Temple Spa accessories, very luxurious. We had dinner on the first night which was delicious, we sat in the conservatory part... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
