Lovely meal but ruined by a very rude old waitress with dyed long blonde hair and a very short dress! We are a family with a 7 month old daughter and we met our heavily pregnant sister and brother in law for lunch. Our daughter has started weening and made a bit of a mess on the floor dropping food...

We stopped here for lunch and would have been happy with standard pub fare. The New Forest Inn is a typical village pub inside and out, possibly in need of a little freshening up but this adds to the homely atmosphere. The hake with asparagus (in season with it being May) and tartare mash on the specials board caught our...

Delicious roast beef and really yummy puddings, plenty of choice for those who didn't want the roast. Very quick service and friendly staff. A great place for Sunday lunch and a walk over the beautiful Emery Down afterwards, perfect.

Just gorgeous, we were made very welcome with our two dogs, plenty of tables well spaced apart. Beautiful garden with seating. We stayed and enjoyed a freshly cooked meal. Everything was excellent and we will be returning. Thank you.

We visited this pub with our grandchildren 6, 8 and 15 the playground was great for them to play in, it was a nice day and the weekend so we expected it to be busy and it was...but seems to be geared up to cope with this...they started an outside barby but we didn't know that when we ordered our...

Went for weekend (third visit), perfect spot to explore the forest with our four legged friend. Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly staff on Saturday night and Sunday breakfast (two young ladies and two young male waiters). Nice enclosed garden at rear. Food was excellent, well done to the chefs, both breakfasts and dinners delicious. Room was small but clean...

Managed to fit seven of us in at short notice on a Saturday evening. Friendly staff. Lots of choice and the food was great, when it arrived! Slow service and dogs allowed in the eating areas were only negatives.

We booked on a whim as we'd been visiting friends in Poole and didn't fancy the long drive back and the manager fitted us in right away. Great selection of beers available at the bar and followed by a fab meal. As my wife is vegan this is often a problem eating out but the helpful staff sorted out a...

Visited here a couple of times while working in the area. Lovely pub to come and relax in a gorgeous little village. The food was ok, the steak pie was a bit chewy, and the staff were very friendly. Apparently they also have accommodation.

One of my regular places for good food in the New Forest. Always excellent service and brilliant menu. A dog friendly pub in a good location for walks in the Forest. Advised to make reservations especially at weekends. Recommended to give it a try, you wont regret it...
