This place is AMAZING!!! It's much more than glamping. We stayed in the 'keepers cabin' which has absolutely everything and more. The attention to detail is out of this world. There is a TV in the bedroom downstairs, however it only has a dvd player with many dad's to choose from. We went to get away from the world and be off grid so thus really wasn't an issue. We're already looking when we can go back. Such a magical place. If your thinking about booking it, just do it, you won't regret it.

Thank you so much for your fabulous review. This means so much to our little team here who work so hard to make it as special as possible for our guests. We are very much a site to connect in nature and we don't advertise that we have TVs, offering dvd players in the larger shepherds huts with Hot Tubs. Toad Hall has it's own TV with netflix etc if guests do want this - we are currently trialing new internet which all cabins can access but on the whole we encourage guests to enjoy the surroundings and get away from day to day life just as you've described and we would love to welcome you back again in the future. Thank you again and hope to welcome you back again to Happy Valley, Katy & the team

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent holiday staying in the Bella Bell tent. The tent was really cosy and plenty big enough. The fairy lights were a lovely touch which gave the tent an air of romance.
The attention to detail in the decor and provisions of things we might need for our stay was excellent (the bar of chocolate was especially appreciated!).
We had access to our own fire-pit style BBQ on which we cooked some delicious meals and were able to keep warm when it was chilly in the evenings.
When we weren’t cooking ourselves, we took advantage of the local pubs for our dinner. These included the Dabbling Duck which had exquisite food inside the main pub area, and a lively pizza barn with music.
Happy Valley is really well placed for various activities and sightseeing. We went to see castle ruins, Sandringham, a beautiful beach, and even did a high-ropes course. Its location makes it perfect for a romantic weekend away or a family holiday.
I appreciated how clean the bathroom facilities were. There were extra sanitising wipes and gel to help prevent any possible transmissions of covid.
I highly recommend Happy Valley and the Bella Bell Tent to anyone who wants a unique holiday with all the fun of camping and the luxuries of a holiday home.

We stayed in The Woodpecker Cabin for two nights with our boys (aged 11 and 14) and we LOVED it! It was spacious and spotless inside and the outside space is stunning. Everything has been thought of so we could completely relax. The location is very convenient for trips to the coast and nights were very peaceful with only the odd barking deer to be heard. The additional Covid precautions were reassuring and clear. Our boys voluntarily laid down their screens for considerable periods of time!

We stayed in the Keeper Cabin (2 adults + 2 children). We have stayed in many plush glaming locations over the past few years, but this one is the best. The accomodation is lovely - even has radiators, so no need to pack additional sleeping bags! Hot tub and fire pit in the middle of a wooded area are bliss. The site itself is beautiful, peaceful and spacious. One tip would be to bring a sleep mask as the windows on the roof of the cabin let in daylight from sunrise. Highly recommend, if you're lucky enough to get booked in!

We had such a lovely stay at Toad Hall, which is the ultimate location for a family getaway and in such beautiful surroundings, with every detail having been thought about inside the accommodation, from very comfortable seating and beds, to providing a coal BBQ that is ready to use and fire wood for the fire pit.
If you want seclusion, the sound of birds and wildlife being the only the noise that you hear, other than the fun that your children are having on the hammock, then this is the place to be.
We thoroughly enjoyed our break and will 100% be back!

Had the most amazing time for two nights in the King Bell Tent. Everything we needed was supplied for us. (obviously take your own food, drink and towels). The location was amazing, very quiet and peaceful. The site was very clean and tidy, staff friendly and the shower/toilet cubicle was clean and comfortable. We was able to use the shared fridge/freezer with no problem and there is wood and coal to purchase if you wish for the bbq or fire pit. Overall we had an amazing stay. Will def be back again. Would totally recommend for a family break or a romantic break for two.
The pub up the road is also a must. The Dabbling Duck, had amazing food, and set in a lovely little place, Great Massingham.

We loved this beautiful, wooden lodge that was nestled between the trees. From the moment we entered it felt like home. So peaceful and pristine.
The effort from the hosts was much appreciated - the little notes and chocolate and the great communication prior to our stay.
The evenings gave us the exquisite sunsets which we enjoyed from the comfort of the already preheated hot tub (thank you) which had impeccable jets and the mornings the gorgeous golden sunrise shone beautifully through the large glass doors and windows.
Even on on the gloomy days, the lodge gave us sufficient entertainment from the dvds, board games and tv. We were able to enjoy the wet weather all cosied up as the lodge has indoor heating, so we spent those few hours snuggled up with a cuppa watching the rain fall.
When it came to cooking- the lodge had everything we needed in terms of cutlery, basic necessities like oil, spices, teas, coffees.
We honestly LOVED every second and look so forward to returning. We HIGHLY recommend this lodge for a relaxing , beautiful getaway.

I brought my partner and 2 children (12 & 1 1/2) for a couple of nights so we could have a little adventure. It really didn't disappoint. We stayed in the King Bell Tent and it was lovely. Lots of space, even with out travel cot, and very comfortable. The outdoor kitchen was great and well thought out. The firepit / barbecue was lots of fun to cook on and toast giant marshmallows. We really felt like we were camping in the wilderness, which was amazing. So peaceful and relaxing, watching the stars. The private bathroom facilities were spotless and really nicely done. All in all, we loved it and would definitely visit again. Thank you for our wonderful family memories ❤

Wow! Where to start! This family break away for a couple of nights has been amazing. Set in beautiful woodland you are as close to nature as you can be but with little luxuries to make the stay as comfortable as you like! We stayed in the Woodpecker Cabin, it's was clean, tidy, spacious, cosy on cooler evenings and the wonderful experience of a woodfired hot tub meant our boys were happily entertained! You can clearly see the thought that's been put into making this experience special, from the skylights above the waterfall shower boasting the impressive trees above to the fire pit outside with its panoramic views of fields, trees and the tranquil pond. What makes this place different from the rest? Clearly all of the above but it's ability to make you switch yourself off from your everyday life and reconnect with what really matters, family, nature and making memories to treasure forever. Thank you Happy Valley!💚
