Had family staying so decided to eat out locally, always had a first class Sunday roast here so tried an evening meal for a party of seven. Excellent food! Can recommend the crown burger and the mixed grill was the size of a dustbin lid! Lovely cod and chips and the steaks were perfectly cooked. 10/10

We booked this restaurant for a family birthday lunch on Christmas Eve. The booking was confirmed by the owner and yet, on arrival we found the restaurant to be closed with no signs of life. We have called the owners but had no response. We have had no explanation as to why the place was closed. Book now for disappointment!!

Lovely unspoiled village pub. Run partly by volunteers, it is friendly and welcoming. The food however is first class. There is nothing amateur about the kitchen. There is a choice of three real ales. I cannot comment on the accommodation but I believe there is rooms.

This is quite simply a proper, lovely pub, perhaps the best in Norfolk. The exterior is picturesque, the interior is unspoiled and cosy, the staff friendly and helpful. The beer is well kept and the bar food good. I haven't tried the restaurant.

5 stars. The most welcoming of welcome you will get anywhere, food excellent and locals friendly. An open fire, real ale and lovely people. Would travel 150 miles just to go back. Eunice deserves 5 stars and to prosper in the future with all her hard work and fantastic personality.
