What a pleasant surprise because the relative conformity of Caravan Club sites can be a bit of a downer. Some more private areas in woods with great views. It’s a huge site - 4 toilet blocks. Go high up for a better mobile signal.
I like the new booking system too, a relatively small deposit with balance on arrival replacing the booking free-for-all which previously encouraged speculative block booking. Convenient for local station and buses.

This is a hilly site so levellers are needed. Those in the know arrive early because you select your own pitch. We were very fortunate to find this pitch, thanks to a fellow camper who told us he would be leaving the following morning and we could swap if we stayed in the shaded one two along. It’s a beautiful site with very clean facilities, as is expected at a club site. Everyone is friendly and chatty. The distance to local amenities is a short walk away. There is a tea shop, pub, Thai take away, a grocery shop and a fantastic caravan shop close by. The beach isn’t too far either. There is a train station at the entrance to the campsite and also a pub, attached to the golf course which also serves food. The bus stop at West Runton goes to Sheringham and also along to Cromer and Wells. All on all, we find this campsite suits our needs very well and we will be returning.

What an amazing site in a wonderful wooded valley right next to the golf course. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the showers and loos were exceptionally clean and immaculate. Great location just a 5 min walk from the lovely village of West Runton where you can catch the train or bus to Sheringham or Cromer. The Village Inn is also a must with exceptional food at great prices. Our new favourite site it was beautiful and very dog friendly

The site is in an ideal location , easy to walk to the village. The village has a great shop and busy pub . It hasn’t any shop on site , encouraging customers to support the local shop. This won’t be any use for the campers in a motor home and less mobile to walk to the village. The reception is only open for 30 minutes in the morning. Not really good enough for a large site. Some of the pitches are small and sloping . It needs a dog walk on site as 50% of customers have a dog. Spotless washrooms but bins are no longer around the park just by the washrooms. Expensive for what you get .

Our stay was booked for 2 weeks, leaving a couple of days early due to wet weather.
A lovely site, well maintained with good facilities. Quite spread out with 241 pitches. A few are all inclusive, many grass pitches with electric hookup. Average size pitches with some levelling required. Some pitches require horizontal pitching, this is shown on the pitch. We couldn’t access satellite transmission due to trees, there are pitches in open areas. There are dog wash areas & caravan club bicycle repair stations.
The site is near to both Cromer & Sheringham, Holt is only 7 miles away. Holkham is beautiful & worth a visit. The best thing about this area is the people… & the crab salads.

A large well looked after site but laid out on terraces with lots of cul de sacs which gave a sense of privacy. Clean, warm and welcoming toilet/shower blocks, excellent showers. Great views from certain areas and pitches. Nice walks around and easy to get into village of West Runton. We booked last minute on an easter sunday for one night. Our first night in our new camper van! You need wheel levellers for many of the pitches.

This was my first visit to this site for 15 years, it was over bank holiday weekend and the site was completely full. The site is a very large C&MHC site and is run in the same way as all the others. It is a bit regimented in that I managed to park about 1M outside the prescribed pitch and had to move a little but that is what I have always expected with the large sites. The site is very hilly and the pitches are very unlevel which is something the Club should probably work to improve.
The pitch I found was lovely, despite us being fairly late on arrival we still managed to get a nice pitch.
The facilities were spotless, showers were hot and not push button which was lovely.
Being in a MH we had no additional transport so had to walk everywhere, we walked to the beach and the village and found a lovely pub with good food. The walk takes about 20-30 min to get down from the site to the beach but the beach has a cafe and toilets so it well worth it.
We found all the wardens to be friendly and approachable and had no issues with any of them. As already mentioned it is a Club site and so you do expect to have to adhere to the rules.

Great site, close to Cromer and Sheringham. Facilities were spotless, the on site team were doing a great job. Very busy this year but it held up well. When arriving make sure to check the correct access route and not blindly follow sat nav (especially if coming from Norwich direction)

One of the best caravan sites on the Norfolk coast, great walks, views, you are always made welcome to this site. Show / toilets clean and safe. Nice hotel with golf course close by. Beach 15/ 20 min walk. Bus and train services again close by to some really seaside towns, Cromer & Sheringham. Also if needed a really well stocked caravan
/ camping shop.
