This was my favourite scenic accommodation in Nepal. The rooms had three large windows each, looking out onto the mountains. There were numerous beautiful moths and butterflies to admire. The surrounding area is stunning to look at. I also enjoyed a really friendly chat with a member of staff.

First, be prepared to go up the steep hill for about 30 min from Balthali village. If it rains the steps are very slippery. Walking sticks help. It is worth every step once you get here! We stayed in room 112 with sweeping 90 degree views over Himalaya. The room was simple but clean with private shower. The double beds...

What an absolutely wonderful 2 days I spent here. The father and Son combo of Ashish and Ram is perfect. They are both extremely warm and hospitable people going out of their way to make your trip brilliant. Their wonderful personalities have rubbed off on the entire place and the entire team there. The food was not so good but the rooms were nice. The views are quite nice. You can also hike to nearby villages. Its about a half hour up hill hike. The road to the resort is really bad. It was a bumpy ride.

The ambience is very good but was not satisfied by the hospitality. Waited for more than an hour for rooms and lunch for a pre-informed booking. Also needs to improve on food quality. However, enjoyed the time staying in here. Hiked a bit to upper Balthali village by ourselves, a little guidance from the staffs would have been great.

We had a wonderful experience at the Bathali Village Resort, and would definitely stay there again. The view was magnificent from the common area and our room, and we enjoyed the hike up the mountain and through the local villages to get there. I loved that the owner was Nepalese, and enjoyed the fact we were supporting the local community....

We spent 3 days in Balthali Village Resort - it was the start of a three-week trip in Nepal and Bhutan, and we couldn't have hoped for a better beginning to our holiday. It is a supremely tranquil and stunningly beautiful location - a wonderful way to clear our heads of work worries, and begin the serious business of relaxing....
