Clean, comfortable and welcoming B&B. Friendly and helpful owners. A really good breakfast, plenty of choice and all local produce. Would highly recommend. Out in the country but not too far from local amenities.

Nice and warm welcome, the room was tiny and the bathroom even more. The door to the room could only be locked from the inside. The room was poorly soundproofed and quite dusty with lots of cobwebs. The bathroom and the shower were sadly very dirty. Breakfast was ok, finding the owners two dogs in the kitchen afterwards was not.

Very peaceful location close to both south coast (Dover castle 30 mins, Romney Marsh 35 mins) and Canterbury (Christmas makes it all the prettier),. Friendly hosts Jos and Robert made us all very welcome over 2 nights despite our very late return on new years eve ... with a no-fuss booking process, all our needs attended to, and a gorgeous...

We stayed at Heathwood Lodge in September and really enjoyed it . The welcome was superb with a much appreciated cup of tea and piece of cake . Yes it's quite hard to find and is in " the middle of nowhere " - a real plus as it is so quiet and peaceful . The decor suited us just...

There are a lot of glowing comments about this B&B, which I believe are probably actually influenced by the graciousness and friendliness of the owners and not necessarily based on the merits of the property itself. Travel is an emotional thing and is influenced by not only what you experience, but also who you happen to encounter. So I too...

We were greeted warmly and immediately, provided with afternoon tea and cookies as a "welcome". Our room was small as was the bathroom (particularly, the shower). The property is somewhat dated and in need of renovations. Our room was very dusty and stuffy with old, pine furniture but, the beds were clean and comfortable. Robert is the highlight of this...

Stayed for 4 nights with a dog whilst visiting NE Kent. A most delightful welcome on arrival, well appointed room & a lavish breakfast of local produce all beautifully cooked-puts some 5* hotels in the shade. Knowledgeable of the area with a true interest in their guests & their needs. Plenty of walks for our enthuastic collie and we felt...

I stayed last night with my wife and two year old son. Very homely environment and hospitable owners. Comfortable room and fab brekkie. 15 mins from Canterbury and nearby to Howletts wildlife sanctuary. You'll need a car. Nice to wake up in the countryside...and overall a decent choice for us.
