A two-night dinner, bed and breakfast stay at a lovely inn. Good food and accommodation of a high standard and very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent bar with tv for those who don't want to miss out on the sport.

It's many years since we were last at The Lodge and what a pleasant surprise we had. The improvements carried out have greatly improved what was a good venue anyway. We were offered a free upgrade which we accepted without hesitation. Without exception the staff were top drawer which made our stay even more enjoyable. The Valentines menu was spot...

A wonderful stylish hotel, great location for a nice walk down to the cliffs and beach. The staff make you feel welcome the log fire warms you and the bar is superbly set out. Having decided to eat the food was fresh, local sourced, well presented and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and well presented. A defiant choice when I'm...

I cannot recommend The Lodge highly enough. From our initial greeting from staff which was warm and welcoming. It really felt as if they couldn't do enough for us. They came across as genuine and so friendly. We stayed in the coal bunker (Upgraded as a gesture from staff on finding out it was my birthday). The room was fantastic...

We returned home yesterday having spent four nights over Christmas at The Lodge. We stayed in The Bottle Store which is a very comfortable, dog friendly room with private access from the courtyard.
