We had a wonderful 3 night stay over the bank holiday weekend. We had the two garden rooms which had interconnecting doors, fabulous for me and my two young children and grandparents staying in the adjoining room. Clean, tidy, fudge treats and fresh milk. Access to the garden to read in the sunshine and my boys to run around. Wifi...

What an unexpected find! Luxury stay with local products from the toiletries, to the fudge in the room, to the generous and delicious breakfast. Very friendly, but not over the top, with great local information - we didn't even know we could see the seals and this became the highlight of our trip. We will be back, with our friends....

We stayed here Saturday 22 April as we were booked on a boat trip. A great friendly welcome. It wasn't a problem to drop our bags early. We headed off for a little explore and a cream tea before we met with friends for lunch. I have to say the Moorhen has great charm, is absolutely spotless and they do...

We have stayed twice at the Moorhen which is very well located in the village within a short distance of all the amenities. On both occasions we had the same comfortable double room overlooking the river with a good sized and well equipped bathroom. An ample range of breakfast dishes is offered and well cooked. The welcome and standard of...

The Moorhen is a delightful establishment set in the actual village and has been refurbished to a desirable standard. Our bedroom overlooked the high street and was very comfortable with an ample en suite. The breakfasts were really good. Fresh Fruit salad, cereal, freshly baked croissants, a fully cooked breakfast with sausages, mushrooms and eggs and lashings of toast as well...

We stayed here for one night in September. We were greeted warmly by the owner, Neil who showed us up to a lovely clean, en-suite front room with a view of the river and boats and then provided drinks and biscuits in the breakfast room. Neil told us that he had come down from Scotland three years ago because they...

I booked this B&B for a short break in late September. My wife has limited mobility so we booked the Ranworth Garden Room with its flat floor shower. It proved a perfect place to stay with good but not over-powering hospitality from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfasts provided were wonderful with a tremendous choice of well...
