Booked all the rooms for a Cricket Club Touring party for Friday and Saturday nights, with a meal for 17 of us in the restaurant for the Saturday evening. Rooms were fine - not huge (but there again we had a few camp beds in the rooms to fit us all in), but they were clean, had comfy beds, decent...

Booked because the menu looked more interesting than most, we were told we could not get in before 7.45 but we could try earlier. I had had a strenuous day in the sunny hills and was looking forward to a relaxing evening. After standing around unnoticed for quite a while, we were eventually reconciled with our booking and shown to...

We have just returned from staying here for a couple of nights and I highly recommend it. We had a family room for myself and my two daughters (both under 12) and we found it to be spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a great choice for breakfast, which helps when you have children with you. The owners are friendly...

We ate here after a day's walking in the Dales, so we were ready for food. Service was quick, and the starter (tomato and chicory salad) was good. The roast beef was average. The pricing was right for the food.

This is our second visit to the Craven Arms, as always we were impressed by the friendliness of the host's and bar staff (Izzy). The room's are clean and tastefully decorated and very comfortable, and the food is excellent all home made and locally sourced. The views are spectacular with good walking in the surrounding hills and the beautiful market...

The finest Sunday roast we have had for many years. We were so well treated: offered extra vegetables and yorkshire puddings (which were huge anyway!), and we all look forward to visiting again very soon.

The hotel offered us an excellent twin room. Clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious every morning. With the most wonderful English breakfast, kippers and porridge. The food in the restaurant beat all other places in about 10 miles radius.

Friendly, clean. Good food, comfy bed. The staff kindly offered me a lift into Settle and were very helpful. Nice decor, good location. Generous cooked breakfast. I stayed in the ground floor room which was a little noisy, but otherwise fine.

We visited once before and I was quite disappointed, but this time everything was outstanding...great ambiance, welcoming staff, great food and interesting drinks. Party of seven family members with US relatives... All thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks

We arrived late on a Friday night after an 8 hour journey from the south coast. We were made very welcome and shown to our rooms. My elderly mother had a ground floor room (1) which was very comfortable. We were just through the little residents lounge, in room 2. We had dinner which was delicious. Mother and I had...
