We arrived for a Monday to Friday stay. Check in isn't until four but we were allowed in at three. We stayed in lodge 42. The night before we left having read some reviews on here I had a sense of trepidation, mentions of tired lodges which weren't as clean as they could be. On entering we both said wow!...

Fab time from start to finish. Picked up a Sainsbury's click and collect from the local shopping complex and easily had room for everything we bought (including a large amount of wine!). Hot tub up to temp on arrival, with the man showing us how it worked within minutes. Not even slightly over looked and we couldn't hear much from...

We booked Griffon Forest as we thought is would be a luxury high quality holiday which was reflected in the price we paid for one week. Sadly we were extremely disappointed at the standard of both accommodation and customer service! After checking in, contrary to our experiences on our other eight hot tub holiday resort holidays, no one came to...

We had a wonderful three days over new year. It was great for children to walk and explore . The bear by gold club was also great for food and excellent service. The lodges were clean and very warm and well equipped.

It's been a while since we were last there. Forgotten how good it is. The lodge we stayed in, 27, was refurbished in 2016, now with TV bedroom, larger walk-in shower, large curved TV in lounge, all made this better as this was unexpected. The hot tub, walks still as good as ever. Staff still as friendly. Cannot wait to...

Beautiful lodges in a fantastic location. My partner and I stayed here for the weekend and loved it. The staff forgot our robes and welcome gifts and brought us an extra gift as an apology. The lodges need a bit of TLC and a little attention to detail but this is just things like a couple of doors hanging off,...

Stayed here for 4 days in one of the keepers lodges. Very well equipped with everything you need and also very spacious. The forest itself is beautiful and the wildlife is amazing. Make sure you visit Tykes and the sports bar for 10% off food & drink. The hot tub is also a great luxury at the end of a...

We have recently returned from spending 1 week for new year in a 2bedroom cabin. We was a family of 5, 3 adults & 2 children, age 3 & 7. We have had such a lovely time and did not want to come home and my children are still asking to return now! From arriving to leaving the staff were...
