The Valentine's Day menu advertised ribeye steak but even at 6.30 we were told they'd run out. After suggesting that Tescos round the corner was still open, steak was magically discovered within 2 minutes. Sadly still frozen in middle. Seasons vegetables consisted of red cabbage and kale (whic is cabbage)! Cheapest wine at £28 bottle was poor value. Mattress on...

Good value, located near M4 motorway. Very nice romantic style room with very nice bathroom. Great food in the restaurant and helpful staff. All in all a great romantic gataway place to stay with partner but probably a bit of a waste if it's for business on your own.

I was staying for just one night alone and was placed in a separate bungalow room. The evening meal of fish and chips was awesome and very well presented. My room was a lovely twin room tastefully decorated. This room had an en suite wet room which was lovely, unfortunately the water pump operated every few minutes through the night...

Lovely quirky rooms themed with books by EM Forster whose family had some link to the village I believe . We had a comfortable cosy stay , for some reason we were the only guests that night but staff were very attentive and friendly . They were happy to talk about the historical connections . We had a brilliant stay...

Great Sunday lunch with around 15 of us following our friends wedding at nearby the nearby Wasing Estate. Warm service, a broad and tasty selection of starters and a great Sunday roast. I would totally recommend the venue both as a pub and as somewhere to eat.

We loved the location , loved our accommodation and we will return in the future just a shame about the breakfast But it won't put us off , would recommend it for anyone who is looking to bring their pets with them. The bathroom/wet room was fabulous

Nice building and clean rooms but customer service poor - sometimes felt like we were an inconvenience. Evening meal was excellent but lunch left a lot to be desired. Having requested assistance with issues in our rooms we were told by the staff that they could not contact the manager so could not help us. The keys for our rooms...

I stayed on business and the hotel provided everything I needed. The rooms were really clean and well decorated, the bar service (food and drink) was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money and I would recommend the Hinds Head to anyone.

I chose this hotel as tired of the chains. Staff could not have been more friendly. Room was great and the pillows and mattress were fantastic. The choice of food for breakfast is very good. I can highly recommend this hotel and will be back when in the area.
