We had a group of 10 people a mix of male and female staying here for a local triathlon race we had this weekend. I've never delt with such a lovely person like Mary she was unreal had everything sorted for when we hot there.
Rooms were great spotless and fairly big. Mary offers a dinner option and this did not disappoint best pasta bake I've had but she also has the best of sea food on offer too.
From myself and my team Mary thanks so much for making our stay so good, and if you want to have the craic chat to Mary for 5 minutes shes hilarious.

Sadly the weather was not in our favour while we stayed here with high winds bringing the rain in sideways, spoiling some of the views, but this did not stop us having a lovely visit at the Bay View Inn.
Nicely prepared, clean rooms (the larger and nicer rooms are at the back, overlooking the bay) with a good sized bathroom, and a reasonable price - It is possible to book direct for the best prices and to specify a preferred room.
The bar downstairs is fairly popular with locals in the evening, so has plenty of character, and serves good quality drinks, including properly looked-after Guinness. The inclusive breakfast is also great - Do try the Full Irish.

Stayed with Mary as part of a larger group for the Hardman in Bantry - I cannot stress how accommodating Mary was to us all! Making sure we found our rooms, everything was ok, offering dinner and an early breakfast to accommodate our race start! The view out the back of the house are also amazing!! Will definitely be back!! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Das Bay View Inn liegt direkt im Zentrum von Kilcrohane. Es besteht aus einem Pub und dem B&B.
Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich von der Gastwirtin Mary empfangen. Von unserem geräumigen Zimmer hatten wir einen tollen Ausblick Richtung Meer.
Tagsüber kann man im Pub Sandwichs oder andere Snacks bestellen, abends gibt es Bar Food, außer sonntags, dann hat der Imbiss unmittelbar vor dem Bay View geöffnet. Eine Besonderheit ist der täglich (außer sonntags) frisch gefangene Fisch vom Hausherrn, der abend als Fish & Chips zubereitet wird.
Nach unserem zweitägigen Aufenthalt wollten wir nach Durrus weiter wandern. Dort brauchten wir allerdings noch eine Unterkunft. Als es sich herausstelle, dass es nicht einfach war, ein freies B&B zu finden, hat Marry so lange telefoniert und überlegt, bis sie eine freie Unterkunft auf dem Weg in Richtung Durrus für uns gefunden hatte. Sie war echt eine riesige Hilfe! Vielen Dank auch noch einmal auf diesem Wege.

I have stayed many times before at Bayview, and I am surprised it is not on Tripadvisor, so much that I formally requested it be on here. The B&B is excellent, great rooms with Comfy beds and lovely Bathrooms. The Staff there, especially the Owners Mary and Patrick, are truly one of a Kind. Brilliant People who cannot do enough for you. The Breakfast is fit for a King and the Food for Lunch and Dinner is amazing. Fish served and caught from the very Sea that you can See from the Restaurant, that is definitely what you call locally Sourced! The Bar is a wonder, great atmosphere and great Beers. I would wholeheartedly say that this is the number 1 place to Eat, Drink and Stay in Kilcrohane. When I come back to Kilcrohane, this is the place you would find me and anyone else I know
