We booked a table for 4 adults and 2 toddlers here and really enjoyed the experience. We were seated in an outdoor pod which was bright and airy, yet kept the rain off perfectly.

We had a 3 course meal which was all really good. The lamb and steak especially. Friendly and attentive waitress and an all round relaxed and pleasant time.

Would highly recommend if in the area.

"Wow What a Week". I just returned from West Cork Ireland where I spent (1) with Walking Women hiking along the Sheep's Head Way. The accommodations at the "Bridge View House B & B and Restaurant" in Kilcrohane were terrific, including great cuisine/robust menu, responsive staff, deep local knowledge. (e.g. the team provided a great recommendation for Vincent, a local driver, reliable, helpful, and kind). The town of Kilcrohane is located on the western side the Sheep's Head peninsula, with stunning views of the Atlantic. The walks to the Lighthouse and Seefin (highest peak on the peninsula) were breathtaking. In closing, I had been to Ireland on 3 prior trips driving around the island, but this was the first time I spent a week in one place hiking, resting, reading, learning, and engaging in long conversations. Special thanks to the dedicated staff of the Bridge View House B & B.

We visited for dinner with the two kids on a rainy night, we were set up in a cosy little shelter open on one side in the garden.

The staff were so friendly and happy despite having to run through the rain to bring our food.

The food was exceptional, prawn starter was beautiful and the mains of steak and lamb were both cooked perfectly and were as nice as you'd get anywhere.

Perfect selection for the kids too with generous portions and cooked straigh away to keep the boredom off them.

Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was also lovely and the price for two starters, two mains, two kids meals and three desserts was so reasonable.

Its a family run operation with the chef/mammy coming to visit us during the meal for a chat and to see how our food was.

Would 100% recommend visiting for dinner, some of the nicest food I've had

What a great place to stay. Kilcrohane is the real West Cork. Bridge View House is a most welcoming and friendly family run home with Ann and her daughters looking after the guests and providing comfortable bedrooms and best breakfast ever. The kindness and genuine care shown by Ann when I visited will be long remembered and I thank her for that. This is a house you can feel at home in.

Anne and Rita are wonderful hosts. There were 4 of us cycling around the sheep’s head peninsula and we stayed for one night B&B. We also availed of dinner. All the food we had was top quality and we would highly recommend the restaurant even if you don’t stay here. Anne and Rita were very accommodating in that they allowed us to eat outside at the picnic table as we were trying to remain in the outdoors as much as possible. They also do a very good package ( dinner breakfast and packed lunch ) for walkers and cyclists . I would definitely return here. Very good value for money.

Great Restaurant. We had a great meal here. Both the Baked Cod and Stuffed Chicken were yummy. The staff are great. This was a lovely day in June, but my girlfriend was a bit cold because it was around 7:30 in the evening and the staff gave her a lovely soft blanket to wrap around her.

Friendly family run place with clean and comfortable rooms, but this is just where you sleep after dinner.
The food here is excellent, they have the smallest wine list I have ever seen (2 Red and 2 white) But this does not matter, the food is cooked by people who care, and it shows,,, I can't remember the last time a restaurant actually prepared all the deserts in house, and I've eaten out a lot lol.
So, great food, lovely people and a bed for the night,,,, why would you not come here?

5/5 simply for the food alone. The dinner was superb. We ate in Bridge View for two nights in a row because it was so good. Prawns, soup, lamb and steak were all home cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Desserts were really great too. Lovely staff and service.

We (couple) enjoyed Dinner on four nights in The Bridge House Restaurant. We were staying locally for a week and found this gem to enjoy Dinner in. The food is top quality and varied, the Chowder was just class as was the Steaks and the locally sourced seafood. Rita was such a welcoming and friendly host. We would highly recommended the food and service in this family owned and run establishment. All Covid 19 protocols were in place.
