Cabin was clean and cozy. Good in room coffee. The hiking trails around the cabins were a welcome opportunity to stretch our legs after being on the road for the day. Views are amazing. Fun watching the planes coming and going at the (looks new) runway/airport. Dinner is the dining room was good. Small portion sizes for the prices. There...

Loved everything about this place. Clean, comfortable cabin--lots of room. Great mountain views. The restaurant was fun, the staff was friendly, the food was good. We would definitely stay here again.

I should add big comfortable rooms and great restaurant too. What else do u need? Location is beautiful, as we are at the foothills of the mountains. Binoculars are provided in your room/cabin so that u can watch the doll sheep(yes that is their real name!)on the mountain. Trail route maps in rooms allow u to explore surrounding areas with...

We visited Sheep Mountain Lodge during our trip to Alaska. After a long day we came to this oasis in the wild mountains. Great houses, very clean and well maintained and delicious food & wine in the restaurant. The owners are doing everything to provide comfort to the guest. I fully recommend this place to all Alaska travellers. Mind that...

In May we and our friends from Europe stayed at Sheep Mountain Lodge on west Glen highway, Glacier View, Alaska. This Place was newly remodeled, very clean and pleasant. The owner and his team were out of this world. We had an issue with a flat tire and insurance agree provide us with the new car, but towing expencies were...

From the second I walked into my cabin I knew this place was a winner. From the fresh paint to well cared for grounds and facilities it is clear this is a place that shows pride of ownership and TLC. The bed was comfortable, the cabin spacious and while there is no TV or cell phone service they had WiFi...

The owner is justifiably proud of this delightful lodging close to the Matanuska glacier. He and all of his staff offer a gracious, warm welcome that makes you feel right at home. The Individual cabins are roomy, comfortable and impeccably clean. The demand water heater ensures plenty of hot water for a relaxing post activity shower. The bathrooms are compact...

* the wood cabins are very clean and spacious. * the beds were comfortable and we had a good night's sleep after a long winding drive through the heart of Alaska. * it was rainy so we couldn't actually get a glimpse of any Dal sheep on the mountains but just loved the cabins and the clouds. * the restaurant...

The staff are so friendly, the accommodations so comfortable, the food so delicious and the views, especially of sheep gamboling on the mountains, so relaxing! My only complaint is that the shower was pitiful. My daughter, who has long, curly hair, didn't even attempt to wash it in the trickle that came out. But the communal showers in the bathhouse,...

We stayed here for one night during a road trip in Alaska. We were welcomed warmly at check in. Our cabin was enormous for just 2 of us - 2 queen beds, seating area, kitchenette, and bathroom. We ate in the restaurant, which is large but only half the seating was available, presumably because it was early June. We had...
