If you are looking for a cozy warm out of the way place to stay, look no further. Tundra Rose offers different cabins and is located near Mantanuska Glacier. We stayed in the Tundra Rose Cabin and could sit at the table inside or on the deck outside and take in the spectacular view of the glacier and mountains. Not...

Just a quick review to echo what everyone else has said about Tundra Rose Guest Cottages. This is a great little property that features not only the cabins, but a campground and a restaurant. We had the Tundra Rose cabin for one night - sparkling clean, warm (cold rain falling outside that evening), and inviting. We had a view of...

We booked the cottage during our visit to Alaska for our 25th anniversary. The cottage was everything listed on the website and more. The view was unbelievable. The cottage was extremely well kept and clean. There is a trail on property that we walked and picked fresh blueberries. I would recommend the cottage to anyone staying in the area. Even...

We were not quite sure what to expect - a cabin in the middle of nowhere along a highway. Wow! We checked in at the cafe next door. The key to our cabin was already inside our cabin, but the owner showed up anyway to greet us and make sure we were comfortable and answer any questions. We parked right...

Such a cute cottage! It is close to two other cottages, but you would never know it once you are by the Tundra Rose Cottage. There was a "trail" that we hiked in front of the cottage where wild blueberries were just getting ripe. The bed was comfortable, and the stay was very relaxing.

we were 2 couples, one stayed at the "glacier view" cottage and the other at the "berries and blossoms" cabin. both were amazing, beautifully designed, sparkling clear, and had a lovely view of the Matanuska glacier. a small trail takes you into the wood, down to an observation over the river, picking bluberries on the way, almost enchanting. both cabins...

We stayed in the Berries and Blossoms room. Very comfortable, nice and clean. Kitchenette is also good, unfortunately we didn't bring any food to prepare (and there are no shops nearby) Nearby there is the Grand View Cafe (short walk) In the evening we went for a little walk on the property, picked some delicious blue berries and sat on...

This was the nicest place we stayed during our land tour of Alaska. We stayed in the Berries and Blossom Cabin, which was perfect for our family of 3. This cabin has and outside staircase, and you can see the Matanuska Glacier from the front door. It was beautiful at night. There are two bedrooms as well as a living...

What a great surprise. We had been on the road for a week. Pulled into Tundra Rose on our motorcycles to find a warm welcome from the owner. Cottage was perfect for 2 couples. Fire pit was a welcome site. We sat outside until midnight. Comfortable outdoor furniture and firewood in the box, plus blankets. How nice. Walked next door...

The cabin was well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the evening and using our binoculars to check out the glacier. We saw Dall sheep on the mountains. The kitchenette was great for making coffee the next morning with the included supplies. The reservation experience, and finding the check-in desk was a little stilted. There was...
