We spent one night at Elephant Hills camp and two at the Rainforest Camp on the lake. I can agree with other reviewers - the settings are amazing, food excellent and the elephant experience brilliant. The only slight negative would be that it is quite regimented - you are assigned to a particular guide and group when you arrive and...

Stayed at Elephant Hills for 3 day jungle safari, one night in camp and one night at the lake. What a magical experience from start to finish. Cannot find one negative thing to say about it. Our guide Bua was lovely and all staff were very polite. Met some lovely people from Biggleswade called Erin and Lewis who made the...

It is impossible to overstate just how good this is. If you do nothing else in Thailand then make sure you go to the Elephant Hills Camp. Rarely does something turn out to be better than claimed – this is the exception. We opted for the three-day, two-night trip and we enjoyed every second. Whether feeding and washing the elephants,...

This place was incredible, we loved all the adventures that we did over the three days. The time spent with the elephants was fab and very informative. The next day we spent the whole day on the lake at Khao Sok national park which was beautiful, you can stay here too overnight but we chose to return to the camp....

So, I had some reservations about booking this trip as we had heard some negative things about how the elephants were treated. This is simply not true, as the elephants were well treated by their mahouts and by the Elephant Hills team. The transfer from Phuket airport is long (3 hours or more), but it was more than worth it....

I woke up this morning to a Facebook memory... it is a year since our incredible trip to Elephant Hills and I realised I never actually wrote my review. A year on, I still think of that place on a daily basis. A year on, I miss the wonder, the nature, the staff, the tent (yes the tent!) and the...

Did the Elephant day first which started with a paddle in a canoe, down river viewing the wild life which was great if a little quite (animal wise but you in the jungle and not a theme park, so no performing monkeys just real life encounters), when we did it. Then we watch elephants play and work and then had...

We did a 1 night 2 day trip here and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment you arrive to a delicious lunch (in fact all the food is excellent) the guides and all staff are very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful with big butterflies floating around the foliage and neat paths leading to the tents. The...

Definitely a must do. Was great to get away from the rat race and out into the countryside. Location of the Elephant Hills and Lakes camp's where ideal. Loved both of them. All guides and staff where excellent and very friendly and helpful. Not exactly what I am used too with camping, never camped so comfortably in my life. It's...

We did the 2 night, 3 day jungle lake safari. The elephant experience was just wonderful. So amazing to interact so intimately with these magnificent creatures and so much better than treating them like a side show by riding on them as many tourist attractions in Thailand do. The accommodation is not on the luxury end of things and neither...
