We love the Giants table. We have stayed here many times. There is nothing fancy here or elegant. Just good old fashioned country hospitality in a collection of old country houses. The hosts are terrific. Linda takes charge and is a lot of fun. She has been known to get drunk of an evening and we can confirm such. We...

Thanks haha; a old trick women put a drop in the glass and fill up the mans; how you could ride the next day is beyond me but me and Jazzie were fine not hung over and cleaned 8 houses and did 3 hours ironing in 35 degree heat which wasn't so much fun; look forward to seeing you next...

We had a group of 8/9 who stayed at the Giant's Table for 2 nights, allowing us to travel around the area, experiencing great scenery. Our stay was very much enhanced by the hospitality extended to us by Linda and her team. Thanks for making it a memorable stay! I'm sure we'll be back.

Giant's Table has been a staple of the MC944 tours for over a decade. The cottages are simple but clean and well maintained. Linda looks after you very well in the restaurant and a good night is always guaranteed. Perfect base for a run out to Gordon Dam.

After having read the reviews for this property we booked for 2 nights. Our experience was that the cabins are very old and in need of a lot of maintenance and upgrading. As does the property and grounds..The cabins are relatively clean, but very tired. The grounds were needing attention in so much as mowing, trimming and the grass was...

Lovely cottages that are well set out. Good meals at reasonable prices. Lots of things to do in the local areas or just put your feet up and relax and enjoy the beautiful country surrounding the cottages

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling in Tassie. Comfortable old timber cottages in a complex of several similar cottages. Upon arrival we were met by the owner/operator who was friendly and helpful with information on local area. There are dining facilities by appointment if you need them, otherwise the cottages have all you need, fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms (towels...

We had a great time, the kids fed the animals - alpacas, goats, peacocks, we saw platypus' in the pond outside our door, we took the bicycle train ride around the corner, walked in the meadow behind the property, and went to Pedder Lake, Styx forest, and the National Park - lots to do, and the couple who manage the...

A gem of a place in the quiet viillage of Maydena. Not the place to come if you want pubs, restaurants etc, there's just the general store and the owners of the site can cook for you if required. If not you have a full kitchen to prepare for yourself. Quiet comfortable bedrooms, hot shower greatly appreciated and of course...

We had a small 2 bedroom cottage which was a good size. It was a lovely quiet place to unwind after a day of travelling & bushwalking. The staff were friendly & helpful in suggesting other things to do locally (e.g. a short drive & walk to a nearby cave) which are not included in the major travel brochures etc.

Thank Jacqui M
