A fantastic family style resort set in rural Bohol, 10 thatched covered rooms blend in with the palm trees with a lovely small swimming pool being the centre point. Each room has a sea view, I had a upper floor balcony room which was fantastic, well equipped, tea/coffee, good ac, flat screen tv, comfy bed & good wi-fi, my room...

WOODY and the STAFF are very friendly. Great place to stay. Tranquility by the sea. Very relaxing with great food. The suites are unbelievable. Pool and music are sweet. THIS PLACE LACKS NOTHING. I WILL MAKE THIS PLACE A REGULAR STOP

After reading good reviews on TripAdvisor and Booking.com I spent 5 nights here with a mutual friend. We were disappointed to find out the beach isn't one that you can swim at actually- there is literally a concrete block dividing the resort property from the public beach that is smelly, shallow, and not very blue at all. The sand on...

Very nice resort. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The food is the best I have eaten in Bohol! A great variety of western and local dishes. The fresh seafood is great. There is a great pool and a cold beer to cool you down. Totally recommended!

This resort is located approximately 45 minutes (depending on how many stray dogs are running into the road) away from Tagbilaran, the main town on Bohol. It is on the main road (read: can be noisy). Although it's on the ocean, the bit of beach that it's connected to is not very nice, and you can't lie on it. They...

We had a fantastic romantic week at Kaylaa, everything we were looking for in a secluded location. The managment and staff were all friendly and accommodating to our every request and everything about the place just had a great feel. The food was exceptional and matched the great surrounds.

the 3point rating isnt because the resort is bad.. but it is weird located. The problem in Bohol is the lack of beaches. So even is Kayla´a Beach Resort directly on the beach, you wouldnt swim there.. And also the location is bit enisle .. if you dont hire a bike, you are "trap" there and you have really tiny...

A warm welcome greets you at the Kaylaa Beach Resort. My wife and i recently stayed here for four nights in November 2013.The staff and owner couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This was only a few weeks after Bohol had suffered an Earthquake which made it even more of a praise to them as they were restricted...

We stayed here for 3 nights in December, a couple of months after the terrible earthquake and typhoon hit the Philippines. There was no sign of either and Kayla'a was the perfect place to relax after some busy traveling between the islands. With the relaxed atmosphere in mind, don't expect super quick service, but instead sit back and enjoy the...
