Great small hotel recently renovated. Small but comfortable rooms. Wifi not adequate but free. I wrote my hotel review on the restaurant section so I should say now that the restaurant is fabulous. We had an exquisite meal of stuffed guinea fowl. A bit pricey but worth it.

Classic family-run hotel on the high street in the town, complete with lorries and other noisy traffic charging by while you have a beer outside - very French! Clean & comfortable. Decor a little quirky, but seen worse. Great little restaurant out back, traditional french country cuisine with superb service, but not cheap as such. Very convenient for those wanting... More

A delightful Auberge where we stopped for lunch. I cannot review the hotel as we did not stay. This review is centred on the Restaurant within. As with many visits in the past, the food is good solid home cooked French, with wonderful cheeses and all that is expected from local fare. It is local and regional food so if... More

A one night stopover returning from the Alps. Quiet location in very attractive village. Friendly, welcoming staff, large room with view of the château and most importantly, a comfortable bed. We had a superb, unhurried meal in the restaurant and a good breakfast. Even the car was under cover for the first time ever! All in all quite a find.... More

We have stayed here several times because the hotel is very conveniently situated, handy for the mototorway but quiet. The rooms are basic and decoratively very tired, but the beds are comfortable and the bedding is clean. We have always found the staff helpful and efficient. As one review says, the restaurant is closed on Mondays, which is quite common... More

This is a very convenient auberge for a stopover if you're travelling through France (North/South). It is a country inn not a smart hotel. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate for a stopover. However the food is interesting and freshly prepared and the choice of cheese is superb. The family & staff look after you in an efficient manner

Our reservation noted that we should arrive before 18:00 hrs. or contact the hotel if we wished to arrive later. We arrived at 16:30 hrs. - doors all locked, no one at the hotel, no message on the door to reception! Temperature 36 deg. C! The hotel owner (or manager?) arrived at 17:30 with no apology or explanation. Not very... More

Looking for a stopover on a journey across France, this place caught my eye and the reality lived up my expecations. In a village conveniently located off the main toll roads, charming traditional inn, on the roadside but quiet - only noise was the church bells waking us up at 8am on Sunday morning! Staff slick, smart and professional wth... More

I agree with most reviews. We stayed for one night on the way home from Spain and it is easy to find and very convenient with safe overnight parking. The village is pretty but a bit empty. The hotel is cosy with typical French rooms and the staff are friendly. The menu was a bit overstated, and a bit pricey,... More
