Everyone has different needs & expectations for a vacation. This fit ours perfectly. Having travelled to almost all of the De Ilons in the Caribbean, we have a few rules. No elevators, No tents. Just back from two weeks at Captain Olivers's and we could not be more pleased. The Ocean View room was very comfortable with perhaps the biggest...

Have stayed at many resorts from Stars 1-4 and unfortunently this one ranks close to the bottom. Hotel is run down. Needs updating. Restaurant expensive and not of quality. There is a definite lack of customer service. Ladies at the front desk were abrupt as well as superior. Felt begging to give them my money was the sort the attitude...

We really liked the location of this resort. It was peaceful, scenic, and a little more laid back than most other places. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have an excellent restaurant with live music in the evenings, a nice pool, and have a great happy hour every day from 5-7 pm at the Iguana bar. We met a...

My husband and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Capt. Oliver's. We were there two years ago and was not disappointed; however, this time was different. It seems that the resort has been slowly deteriorating. Things that should have been fixed have been left with no repair. For instance, the deck around the pool is very rough. There...

Checked in for three days (prepaid) after a very long day at 7:30 PM. The check-in process was done by a very unfriendly lady who made us feel like we were bothering her. She did not offer us a lock for our safe. When we got to the room, we noticed it was a very old safe and appeared to...

We stayed here before and after chartering a boat from Sunsail, which is located at the marina on the premises. So the location was our primary driver for choosing Captain Olivers, The rooms are a bit dated and slightly run down, but perfectly adequate. Spring for the ocean view rooms. The views are spectacular, much, much better than the marina...

We got in late. Rented a car and brought my own GPS. Rough trip from Airport to Resort. Upon arriving guard greeted us, Front desk was French and charming. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was a bit hard. In the morning the sun filled the room thru the french shutters and we opened the doors to see a spetacular...

I have stayed here several times over the last 15 years. The resort is dated and could use more updating, however it does have the caribbean feel with a european influence. The parking is nice and secure in a guarded and gated lot. The signature restaurant is very good with an extensive menu. I believe it is Saturday nights when...

My husband and I just returned from St. Martin and are thrilled to have discovered Captain Oliver's. It had been a few years since we had visited St. Martin and the people at this resort embody the reason St. Martin holds a special place in our hearts. The views are breathtaking, the location, amenities, and restaurant are amongst the best...
