Detailed Reviews
We ate hear on a Saturday evening, we booked but it wasn’t over busy. The food was very nice and priced around what I would expect for a mid range pub restaurant. 3 courses, including a bottle of wine came to about £100. They have only been open a week, so there are some minor issues. Only 2 people were working the tables after 8pm, and they looked very rushed. You also order at the bar which isn’t that clear and another table sat there for a while and we had to tell them to order at the bar. Little things like no wine coolers, no additional plates for sharing starters etc. in all, a nice meal out and would return

Nice pub with welcoming staff in a quiet location just five minutes walk from busy Cley. Food was very good and sensibly priced. Breakfast was excellent.
The room was OK. Bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was a bit basic and needed a good clean.
The electric shower was feeble. No hot water in the bathroom washbasin unless you were the first of the four rooms to use it in the morning.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Very comfortable, nicely decorated ensuite room in a separate building just next to the pub. Because it is separate it is very quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is served either in the sunshine on a little terrace outside the room or inside the pub depending on the weather - nice choice. Good breakfast and a sausage on a special plate for the dog! The hosts were very welcoming and looked after us very well. The pub is in a beautiful location on the village green with a lovely garden with a water lily pond, and a view of the church. Food was good - excellent fish and chips. Hosts did everything to manage coronavirus regulations but also make guests feel welcome and relaxed. Great location for visiting Cley village and the other towns along the coast. Would love to stay again and would certainly recommend.

A warm welcome from the moment we arrived. We were later than anticipated and had to get off to see a show elsewhere, but the manager kindly offered to cook us something before we left even though the kitchen was closed. The room was very cosy, just right for a couple, with a very comfortable bed, soft pillows, quality sheets and duvet and a nice hot shower. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with hot pastries, followed by a full english for me and poached eggs with avocado on sour dough toast for my wife. In all, a very enjoyable stay, sadly just for 1 night, but we will be back in the future to spend more time at The Three Swallows to explore the area.

Visited this cosy pub on three occasions while on holiday in Cley. Had lunch there twice, on both occasions very enjoyable. Friendly, efficient service. Early in the week they offer a set mini lunch and drink for £10 which was good value. Lovely rear garden with marquee to relax in and admire the stunning view of the beautiful church. Would definitely return if in the area again.

We had a family meal here on 12th July 2022 and enjoyed the excellent food and friendly staff. Interesting combination of ingredients made choosing very difficult! The peaceful beer garden has a waterproof cover over most tables which was very effective when we had light drizzle. The Three Swallows is in a peaceful part of Cley opposite the Green and has beautiful views of the stunning church. Pleased to see dogs were welcome and there were even dog biscuits to help yourself to at the bar! The tasteful refurbishment makes the inside very pleasant and cosy. We shall certainly come again when we're next in the area and I wish all of them good luck in the future. They certainly deserve it.

This lacked in so many areas, book if you’re after disappointment. Customer service was zero, not once were we asked how the food was, the atmosphere was none existent and the food wasn’t great either, so much so my wife left hers however no one noticed until the end of the meal. Thankfully it’s not the only pub in the village.

Came on a Sunday evening. Had 3 courses, nice preparation and presentation. Tasty and varied menu. Enjoyed pork bites and hummus to start, beef roast and roasted hallumi salad for main course with crumble and the cherry and coconut ice cream sundae for dessert with a beer and wine to accompany.

First of all, I never write reviews. Having read some of the scathing reviews listed here though,I feel compelled to comment.
We have just returned from a really lovely three-night break at The Three Swallows. Susan, John and Team couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The menu offers lots of choice and the food is superb. The garden is lovely. The pub is quite possibly the most people and dog-friendly place we have ever visited. We felt very much at home here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. We will certainly return!
