We had a large room in a converted barn. Nothing special about the accommodation but a great friendly breakfast with the few other inmates and a lovely place to walk around before leaving after one night.

A quaint B&B with super friendly service. We stayed in the Saint Emilion room - was simple but very clean and tidy - and very spacious. Chateau is only a 5 min or so drive to town so is very convenient. We were given a very informative tour of the vineyard - was super interesting (as we previously didn't know...

This is a difficult to place to rate. I'll start with the positives. The chateau is naturally surrounded by vineyards and the setting is wonderful. The chateau on arrival looked stunning and we couldn't wait to see inside. We were greeted by lovely, helpful staff who seemed more than happy to help you. Disappointing though, was our room. We stayed...

Charming Chateau with simple luxuries, beautiful pastoral views and friendly, efficient staff and hosts. While not as luxurious as other Chateaux, the Monlot is exactly as advertised, with clean, very spacious rooms, air conditioning, beautiful views, secure parking, and very easy access to Saint-Émilion. Would stay there again. We stayed at Chateau Monlot as part of our 10th Anniversary tour...

We spent one night in Chateau Monlot. We were greeted by the owners and an American student who is looking to major in wine science. We arrived somewhat late so we went straight to business - ie straight to the wine tasting of their estate. Absolutely delicious! After that they booked us in a restaurant in St Emilion and tasted...

We stayed at Chateau Monlot for 3 nights in June. We did not rent a car- our focus was to taste wine and we didn’t want to drink and drive – so we lucked a bit because an “intern” originally from the US was there and befriended us. He picked us up from the train station and took us to...

We arrived in Saint-Emilion late on the busiest tourist day of the year. The very efficient and helpful tourist office had a list of the few rooms still available and we chose the last room at Chateau Monlot for a few days. It is set in the middle of vineyards at Saint-Hippolyte perhaps 15 minutes away. We had no trouble...

When you stay at this hotel you will be treated to an extraordinary owner/vintner named monsieur Rival. I met him in the fall of 2007 and he is the best host ever. The wine from his vineyard is very very good and his personality and joi de vie is infectious. he invited me into his kitchen to sample some wines,...

The room was comfortable (bed was about a sleep number 35) and pretty. Large bathroom with big tub. They included a hairdryer in the room. The staff's english isn't that great which only became a problem when we couldn't find the place. They don't have a street address and our GPS couldn't locate them. The TI in St Emilion never...
