The photographs we had seen painted a wonderful picture and the reality did not disappoint. We had been very impressed with out e-mail contact before and after we had booked and the great service continued when we arrived and...

The village of Querceto and the Castello Ginori was the Tuscan country holiday we were looking for. The location is ideally situated near lovely hilltop villages and the sea. The pool in the village was perfect for quiet afternoons and an excellent options for the children instead of sight-seeing. The staff was most welcoming and accommodating. The small restaurant in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Querceto, with the Ginori Castle, is a secluded and ancient village in Tuscany, not far from the Etruscan town of Volterra, surrounded by woods and typical Mediterranean scrub. This delightful "borgo" is ideal for a peaceful and restful holiday and for all those who love nature. Beautiful and world known sites as Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, Massa Marittima, Bolgheri are within driving distance, as other less known but equally charming spots of the Tuscan countryside; the seaside is only a 20 minutes away. ... more   less
