This reasonably priced guest house was brilliantly located for all the tourists sites in the area and the beautiful towns of Priego and Cordoba. The accomodation is stylishly simple reflecting Spanish style, spotless, comfortable and completely self contained with its own terrace. Use of the pool was completely unrestricted and very welcome in the hot weather! Breakfast and evening meals...

Due to an error on my part, we arrived a day early to be greeted with amused surprise but an immediate, and welcome, solution. Although rather isolated the accomodation was excellent spacious, clean and with excellent fixtures and fittings. The rooms open on to a spacious balcony overlooking the garden and pool. The hills opposite are covered in olive trees,...

After a hectic two days in Seville we got to Casa Oasis and felt we had arrived for our holiday. We were met with a warm welcome and it was pleasant to find our rooms cosy, very comfortable and detached from the other let rooms. This has been one of the loveliest places we’ve stopped at and we’ve been able...

Spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Casa Oasis. Jan and Mike were the perfect hosts and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They were happy to take us to see the sights at very reasonable prices. The best trip was to the bat caves where the scenery was stunning. The weather was beautiful but extremely hot, so relaxing in...

We found Casa Oasis when looking for a more rural Spanish experience, after being worn out by the heat and traffic of Andalucia's cities. We thought the price was very reasonable and this was confirmed by our enjoyable stay. The guest house is comfortable and homely, and the sun chairs and pool were great but the best thing about our...

We found Casa Oasis on the internet and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. It really is an oasis and we enjoyed private areas to sit, a lovely pool, garden and wonderful hosts, Jan & Michael Templeton. Jan is a great cook, i would highly recommend having dinner there, and Michael kept us amused with his Scottish jokes! You...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa La Nuez, a B & B for up to 4 people (and up to 2 children extra). You will stay in a typical Spanish house in the Andalusian style. One room has a double bed, the other two single beds that can be pushed together. We offer free wi-fi, bathrobes, a private terrace and access to the enclosed garden with swimming pool, sun terrace and shady spots. Each morning we will make sure fresh bread, milk, coffee and tea are ready when you wake up. In the afternoon we prepare a light lunch or comida as in Spain if you want and in the evening you can sit down and enjoy dinner. It is alternated between local and international cuisine and Belgian classics. Reservation in the morning at breakfast so that we can buy our ingredients fresh in the store or on the local market. Many customers come to us to visit the region with the Alhambra palace in Granada, the Mezquita in Cordoba. Granada is easily accessible in less than an hour. The Alhambra is one of the most beautiful historical palaces in Spain. It is strongly recommended in advance to order your tickets and if you want we can help you. Granada has so much to offer you can spend several days there walking around. At just over an hour away is Córdoba. A magical place with a very compact historic area. It is one of the most amazing cities of the Moorish period with flamenco festivals and local markets. Other very beautiful sites to see are Priego de Cordoba, Zuheros, Zagrilla, National Park Subbetica and Antequerra. And Caminito del Rey, the spectacular new trail through the gorge near Alora. The region around Almadinilla is so authentic and full of nature that she is a true haven for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and lovers of Spanish cuisine. Come on in ! Make yourself comfortable. We take care of you. ... more   less

“Both rooms quiet”

“Casa Oasis is built on the side of a hill, with two similarly-sized double rooms and large en suite bathrooms. Both guest rooms are directly accessible from the street and both have balconies looking out onto the olive-tree covered hills on the other side of the valley. This is a small rural village, so quiet and peaceful at all times, with no traffic noise.”
