I stayed at both the Adventura on Santa Cruz and this Red Mangrove on Isabella. While they had different feels, the service and staff were great at both. The Isabella property is on a stretch of gorgeous beach with pelicans and blue-footed boobies diving in the water, and sea lions playing in the tidal pools. Nice walks in the early...

As part of my adventure in the Galapagos, I spent a couple of days at the Red Mangrove Isabella Lodge and what a treat. The rooms are so comfy and spacious, great decor, and you can't beat the location. The lodge is right on the beach and just a few minutes from the bay for snorkeling, catching a boat to...

This hotel is well located. Right on the beach, walking distance everywhere else. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are great, food is good, breakfast is better. there are about 8 rooms, so never crowded. Unfortunately no hammocks when I was there. Compared to other options on the island, we hat the top choice.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our honeymoon. The hotel is small therefore it is nice and quiet. The rooms are fairly new and spacious. Restaurant has limited offer but what is offered is good. People working at the hotel are rather nice. Being right on the beach with not much people is great.

This hotel is located on the beach, and is only a few mins from the boating dock. For such a small town there are not going to be many Trump Towers! We were lucky enough to have the front room facing the beach, the other rooms in the block do not have a view. Rooms are basic but spacious. The food...

The hotel's beachside location is its nicest feature, with all rooms within sound of the waves, and a nice boardwalk deck where you can relax and enjoy a drink or a meal. The food varied from just OK one night at dinner to very tasty our second night there, when the hotel hosted a lovely barbecue for our tour group....

Please see my review for the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge, which is where we stayed for half of our honeymoon. The other half was here at the Isabella hotel. Both were amazing! I posted pictures and gave a pretty thorough review of the entire trip, which was for our honeymoon just this month - Nov 2014.

This lodge is a smaller sister of lodge located in Santa Cruz Island. There are around dozen rooms on the beach and restaurant. Wi-Fi works slowly only in restaurant. This island does not have good internet. Room had bed for 3 people, clean spotless, no any complains. Did not turn AC because temperature at night was around 20C or 68F....

We really enjoyed this lodge and being right on the beach. We were given a room right on the deck so the wifi was good for us. The service was good, but the food was just average and not a lot of choices. Also, be aware that they use brackish water in the showers. This was not a problem, just...

his hotel had a great location right on the beach. The rooms are large and sparsely furnished but was adequate for our needs. Wifi was weak and spotty, but a beautiful beach to enjoy. Food is meh, meats overcooked. Many restaurants in town, an easy walk.
