Okay so firstly this is not a hotel. I think the wording hotel is incredibly misleading. Let's be clear this is a hostel. If you are aged 18 - 23 then this might be for you. I'm somewhat older than this and was on my honeymoon. Sadly my husband and I were ripped off by Intrepid tour operator as part...

San Vicente wasn't special one way or the other. We stayed for two nights as part of a package. The bed was hard and more facilities for drying bathers etc would have been good. On the other hand, the AC was quiet (interrupted by a neighbouring rooster) and Caroline on reception was very helpful.

Probably the most remote hotel in town, 500 m from sea side, when mosy hotels there are at the sea side....Got booked there by our travel agency, quoting a "charming hotel"... - a huge mistake. Noisy, no charm, standard room = backpakkers rooms, views on what looks like shanty town...Decided to move out on the beach side from day one...

Our stay was part of a prearranged package deal. I stayed at Hotel San Vicente with 3 family members for 3 of our 4 day island hopping Galapagos tour. The hotel is in a good location - walking distance of a supermarket, the beach, restaurants, bars, laundry services etc. The rooms were good (was on the third floor). They were...

This is really a basic hostel style accommodation. The shower handles were broken, the rooms were tired looking and need renovating, they did not look as new as the ones in the photos shown on this site. The included breakfast is pretty bad: sweetish bread, one type of juice and some fruits usually papaya or pineapple, granola and yoghurt. I...

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel San Vicente for 3 of our 5 day island hopping galapagos tour. It is in a great location on a beautiful island that is SAFE and a short walk to everywhere. The front desk staff that were english speaking, Caroline and Natalia, were super nice and friendly and informative! Caroline gave us all...

During our far to short visit to Galapagos in May 2016 we stayed 3 nights in this nice clean hotel. The hotel is very close to several restaurants, shops and the beach. And do not forget the pink bar which was adviced by the friendly staff. We had breakfast, lunch and diner and the food was good. We made several...

We were there during the holiday season and all the rooms were full. The hotel is also a base for the Sierra negre volcano tour and snorkeling tours. Given the high tourist traffic, it would seem like there would be an effort to improve the breakfasts which were awful, the WiFi which never worked the entire three days (they kept...

Let me preface this by saying we got an exceptionally good room with AC on the 3rd floor, and we were extremely lucky because we saw many rooms were extremely tiny. However there are some serious cons I'll address first. The hotel is located off the Main Street (5 min walk about) and female family remembers reported lots of street...

You rarely see a hotel that suits its surroundings so perfectly. Most of the public areas are half outside, and the whole place is almost like a kind of treehouse arrangement. There is a nice big courtyard with trees and canopies to sit in the evenings, and a jacuzzi pool that can be used if you ask in advance. Really...
