I went to General Villamil Playas with uncles, cousins and my brothers. The trip lasted aproximately one hour traveling from Guayaquil by car. During the trip we stopped to have breakfast, then we went to a restaurant, the person who awaited on in the restaurant gave us good service . One hour later we arrived. We visited a beach called...

Really good hotel, one of the best I would say in isla Isabela. Nice people and you have the beach right in front of your room! I would greatly recomend it to anyone who wishes to spend a good time in there.

Stopped by the beach bar after a wildlife viewing walk on our way back to town. The couple of hours there were perhaps my favorite of the week-long trip. Relaxed, breezy, shaded, unhurried. Kids came and went as they explored the shorefront and returned for sustenance. Iguanas at our feet. Really humorous 'emergency exit' sign!

Galápagos beach paradise spot for younger travellers. Beto has spent 16 years turning this place into a rustic beach front bar and restaurant with nice rooms, some with spectacular sea views. Reasonably priced, great cocktails and good party music.

I stayed on Isabela Island for 4 days before heading out for a cruise. I booked Beto's bar by phone, after seeing it here on tripadvisor. I had read that the rooms facing the lagoon were not good, but the price was right, so I decided to chance it. My room faced the lagoon, had everything I needed, and was...

I visited Isla Isabela on July. On my way there I met a fellow backpacker, who stayed at Beto's and he recommended to check this place out because of its location and price. I ended up staying in Beto's Beach Bar Hotel (not in the place Beto owns across the street). I had an unforgettable time there. My room had...

Even a short stay at Beto's place will add colour to your time on the Galápagos Islands. During our stay we enjoyed a spacious room that was cleaned daily and had great beach front views. It's a place where everything doesn't have to be perfect - it just works, so well that we didn't want to give up our room...

About a month ago, I traveled via boat from Santa Cruz to Isabela. By chance, I sat next to Beto. he explained to me he owned a beach bar on Isabela and we had great conversation. as the journey progressed, I grew afraid. This was the roughest boat ride I had ever taken and I had my 6 year old...

My husband and I booked a room at Beto's Beach Bar Hotel and ended up staying at a place Beto owned across the street. When we went to check in, Beto asked us to pay for our stay up front, then escorted us to a room across the street. The room was filthy, had a broken towel rack, open wiring...

Sitting on the terrace of Betos (tasty) Bar and overlooking the beach and sea in a very relaxing atmosphere is the icing on the cake called Galapagos or Isabela. Beto offers tasty rooms for very fair prices too. I felt vey comvortable in there. Clean, aircon, quiet. All in all an absolute enjoyable stay.
