We stayed 3 nights in the Cowboy Suite. Unfortunately it was very noisy. There's an intermittent humming/vibration noise that seems to be coming from the hot-tub heating system located directly overhead, in the private area of the building. The very nice lady who was temporarily in charge because the owners were away tried to turn off the hot tub (which...

Sorry about the humming noise and vibration from our hot -tub. Had I not been away it could have easily been turned off. To be honest, I never noticed the excessive noise nor had any previous guests brought it to my attention, until now. Thank you for the heads-up. I am glad that you found the B & B to...

I stay here during early March 2016. I stayed in a small room with a partial kitchen. The room was perfect and I had a hard time finding anything wrong with it. It was near perfect. The folks who run the place are really nice -- available when you need them, quiet when you don't. You are just a quick...

We strive for perfection and want all of our guests to have a memorable stay at the Chuparosa. Our central location does make it easy to hit all the birding hotspots and our feeder set-ups attract all the usual suspects for some 'lazy" birding from the patios. Hope to see you back!

As an English birdwatching couple I can only say that this is "The place to stay" in Arizona. Luis is a wealth of knowledge on local birds and farther afield sites and goes out of his way to help visitors. The accommodation is wonderfull and we particularly appreciated the excellent vegetarian breakfasts. Chuparosa is such a beautiful, quite place to stay,...

We make a special effort to welcome our international guests to the Chuparosa. I knew that you wanted to see as many birds as possible and didn't want you to waste your valuable time. Local birding knowledge can be a great help and we are glad that you appreciated the many tips. We will look forward to hosting you, again!...

Great inn in the Madera Canyon that is quiet and relaxing! My husband and I recently spent two nights mid-week here and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, birds and breakfast burritos. Luis is a welcoming host and provides visitors with a wealth of information about the canyon, birds, etc I look forward to coming here again in the future!

Out of the Scottsdale heat and into the loving arms of Madera Canyon Chuparosa Inn and 70 degrees! Relief, relaxation, comfort, beauty, wildlife, flora and water were at every turn. This was a birders paradise and a welcome respite from the everyday life back home. Our hosts made our stay special with a roaring fire one evening and many filled...

My husband and I took a couple of days off to recharge. If you are looking for a wonderful place with great beds, nice breakfast and wonderful hiking I would highly suggest this inn. Louis was informative and friendly -even giving us some ideas about birdwatching sites and books to read. We are already planning our return.

We enjoyed our weekend at Chuparosa Inn. It's a nice B&B tucked away in the sky island of Madera Canyon. Relaxing, great hospitality and a unique setting. Good starting point for hiking, birding or relaxing on the patios.

The perfect place to experience Madera Canyon. We could walk nearby nature trails or just lounge in the many places the owners have created for bird watching on the property. The room was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the hearty breakfasts placed in our room daily. The owners were knowledgeable and helpful and truly glad to share their lovely...

We stayed at the Chuparosa two nights in celebration of our 50th anniversary. We had been by it many times on hikes in Madera Canyon. We had given our son and his wife two nights there as a present a couple of years ago. They loved their stay there as did we. It was great to take a hike to...

Extraordinary birds come to you at this B&B. I saw an Elegant Trogon twice. And a Magnificent Hummingbird put on a show for me one afternoon. The owners are friendly, gracious, and helpful. The rooms are attractive, comfortable, and complete. And the location is fantastic. You can sit and watch an ongoing show of wonderful birds all day long. We...
