A great place after a long day on the cycle track. You're warmly greeted and can easily restore your weary limbs in the spacious and spotless rooms. Then a good dinner from quite a wide choice on the menu. The large and well kept garden is filled with flowers and bird song. Very relaxing.

We only had a short stay of one night. We were looking for some tranquillity and relaxation and found it here. Wonderful friendly service from a couple who have so much local knowledge. Great food and atmosphere. We hope to be back soon.

An old but very well maintained accommodation. A lot of extra touches, for example torch in the bedside table and very good quality soap, shampoo and conditioner. The host we felt was exceptional, very cordial and interested in us as people rather than just as paying guests. Genuine in wanting us to enjoy our stay. The restaurant meal was was...

Difficult to praise this bijou hotel highly enough. The owners were charming, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The food (breakfast and dinner) was well prepared and full of flavour. I would definitely stay here again and would reccomend the hotel without reservation.

Every attention to the smallest detail has been made to make this a surprising and happy find for a place to stay in Central Otago. The hospitality and friendliness of the hosts, Kim and Phil made us feel very welcomed and at home. They have gone to great lengths to modernise the Lodge and it is a very attractive environment....

This is one of the best places to stay in Central Otago with the nicest hosts you can ever hope to meet. The rooms are very comfortable, very quiet, and meticulously clean. We have eaten in the restaurant on previous visits and always found it to be excellent - definitely worth coming to stay for.
