Broke our drive to Devon with an overnight stay here. Room was modern, comfortable, clean and well equipped with large shower and comfy bed. Ate at Wayne's in the evening and food (burger and scampi) was honest, tasty and well prepared. Breakfast was good too. Staff throughout were attentive and friendly including offering room at back of block when I...

I've driven past the Hawk House Hotel and Wayne's Bar & Bistro many times so often wondered what it would be like. The welcome was warm and genuine and the food in the evening was fab. Great value for money. The room was clean, spacious enough and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too with a choice of how you want your...

I visited Hawk House in May with my teenage son. The twin room and bathroom were very clean, modern and spacious. There is a restaurant next door where they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. The only downsides to this b&b are the very busy main road (A303), which you could hear from the bedroom, despite the property being set back...

Lovely B&B, very comfortable. Room was in excellent condition and very clean. Highly recommended. Wayne's Bistro was very good and reasonably priced. Bit noisy next to the road but that didn't put me off.

Hawk House is a very good B&B we stayed for 2 nights when visiting family in the area. The rooms were very clean comfortable and had everything you needed. my only wish would be for a bigger bed but that's just me!! We made use of Wayne's bar and Bistro in the evenings for dinner. The menu was good and...

Used the B&B facility for first time though have used Wayne's Bar and Bistro several times in the past. Broke a journey to the West Country here and it was very good. Very friendly staff, clean accommodation, and with Wayne's next door made an ideal stop-over. Had a room at the back, which was very quiet, though the communal lounge...

Stayed here recently with the girlfriend. We wanted a cheap B and B whilst visiting friends in the area. The room was lovely and clean, we was able to check in early which was handy. The bed was not at all comfy and although I'm used to be awakened by my girlfriends flatulence, the noises this bed made, left me...

Unbeatable for the price. Spotless room with good facilities including TV Wi-Fi hairdryer tea and coffee making etc. Pleasant staff, easy to find close to the naval fleet air museum. The accommodation even has a sitting room with books and board games for the use of guests

We stayed here on a Saturday night as we were attending a function locally. We were given a spotlessly clean room, loads of tea and coffee and a spacious bed and shower. A little road noise otherwise a fine place to stay. Breakfast was at Wayne's Bistro next door and was superb.
