Very good place too stay. Clean rooms good beds . Breakfast you order the night before is good and a very good choice of food and drink to chose from . The bar downstairs as a good evening menu and friendly staff
The staff helped me with the menu as I am celiac and can't have any wheat, I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans not quite what I was hoping for but the meal was served with a lovely salad which turned it around....More
Went these to thank a friend. She had steak and ale pie, my husband ordered stuffed chicken and I had cod loin. Vegetables were freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. Very pleasant surroundings. Will be going back.

Good morning. I have just booked a double room with ensuite bathroom and breakfast (Ref 29873742R) with you for the night of the 5th September. I forgot to mention we will be attending the party for the Maddens at Chilthorne Domer. They asked us to quote "Madden" when booking.
