Friendly welcome & prompt service Natures own Motel setting, beautiful, peaceful & relaxing, you can hear the birds singing, there are 2 lovely, friendly Labrador dogs, who could want more. The rooms are excellent, spacious and clean, a home away from home. What is unusual is that the rooms are not connected in a line like other Motels, but are...

The units and very modern, clean and comfortable with everything you need. Enjoyed the night time spa and staff are very friendly and helpful. Meals at the on...

Hiding away this establishment amazed me with its small but well built and fitted cabins. I found the facilities well maintained and the staff were very friendly. The establishment a 20 or so minute drive from the town of Havlock, the glow worms less than 100 meters away. This was most defiantly the best place that I stayed at in...

We booked via the information centre in Havelock during the busy summer holiday period. It was one of the few rooms available in the district and we were pleasantly surprised by the unit's high standard and the welcome we received from the owner, Rob. The units are spacious, clean and well appointed, and offer easy luggage drop off as you...

Beautiful cabins on the inside. Needs better signage. We spent 2 nights there & cooked our own meals. Cafe there was barely used & thought they could promote it more perhaps, as down the road a ways, a cafe there was crowded, with loads of fresh foods available. We arrived there early & were told 'you're WAY too early'!, though...

My wife and I spent two nights in Mount Richmond Estate Motel, on a bicycle trip from Picton to Nelson and back. Good food and good service; they extended the opening time of the Forester Cafe to serve us breakfast and dinner. Nice classical music.

This cafe is in a beautiful location - hidden away - and on a crisp winters morning, the log burner in the restaurant was very warming. Our group of 21 really enjoyed the food and the location. Malcolm was a great host and very well organised for our group booking. Food selection was very good and lovely to have hot...

Good location for exploring the Marlborough Sound area. Chalets modern with high quality furnishings, kitchen equipment and outside deck. Owners were welcoming as were their two beautiful golden retrievers. Whole property very pleasant, particularly hot tub. Very happy with choice of accommodation and would recommend it to others.

This old forestry camp has been beautifully done up by the owners and the cabins are very comfortable. We stayed for 2 days and self-catered but there is a cafe/restaurant on site. The owner showed us an area where hundreds of glow worms live, which was spectacular at 10pm.

Very clean and attractive accommodation in the Mount Richmond area. We chose this as a base not too far from Picton Ferry Terminal and within reach of Nelson (the town which, by the time we came to book last minute, could not provide reasonably cheap accommodation for 5 people). Delighted we came across Mount Richmond Estate. There are numerous individual...
