This cafe is in a beautiful location - hidden away - and on a crisp winters morning, the log burner in the restaurant was very warming. Our group of 21 really enjoyed the food and the location. Malcolm was a great host and very well organised for our group booking. Food selection was very good and lovely to have hot...

Good location for exploring the Marlborough Sound area. Chalets modern with high quality furnishings, kitchen equipment and outside deck. Owners were welcoming as were their two beautiful golden retrievers. Whole property very pleasant, particularly hot tub. Very happy with choice of accommodation and would recommend it to others.

This old forestry camp has been beautifully done up by the owners and the cabins are very comfortable. We stayed for 2 days and self-catered but there is a cafe/restaurant on site. The owner showed us an area where hundreds of glow worms live, which was spectacular at 10pm.

Very clean and attractive accommodation in the Mount Richmond area. We chose this as a base not too far from Picton Ferry Terminal and within reach of Nelson (the town which, by the time we came to book last minute, could not provide reasonably cheap accommodation for 5 people). Delighted we came across Mount Richmond Estate. There are numerous individual...

The unit was lovely and clean. The kitchen and shower were great. It was a bonus for the kids having a tennis court there. The immediate area was seriously lacking in things to do, places to eat etc. No mobile phone reception.

We stayed at Richmond for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The independent cottages are well planned and well equipped situated in a beautiful valley. Motel has two cute golden retrievers for dog lovers, cafe that serves nice breakfast (but you'd have to arrange your own dinner) and basket ball court. Convenient location to go for winery tours to...

We were lucky enough to stay here, (along with our daughter who was visiting from Australia) on New Years Eve. Unfortunately the weather was just torrential rain and bad winds but we arrived to a very comfy and well equipped unit. Kitchen was more than adequate and the beds super comfy. The unit was spotlessly clean and very very neat....

My partner, myself and daughter have stayed there several times. It is truly a lovely place to relax. It's peaceful and the host are friendly too. The chalets are very spacious with all essentials giving it a very homely feel. With plenty are outdoor area for children. There's a spa on all hours and it's a delight at night time...

I held some workshops in the conference room this week and was very impressed with the room, the lovely views from it and how nice and warm it was. The hosts are so helpful and professional. It is in an excellent location for anyone wanting participants from Nelson or Marlborough as it is mid way between these two locations so I...

A truly lovely place to stay just a short drive out of the relative hustle and bustle of Nelson and Blenheim. Wonderful scenery, lots of history, mountains and, at this time of year (early March) atmospheric mist which is burned off by the sun come 9am, revealing clear blue skies. To the practical: all cabins are detached so lots of...
