We were there for the Rosebud dinner and theatre and this B&B was a block away from the theatre. The town is very quiet. This B&B met my expectations or exceeded them for a B&B in a small country town. The room and double bed was comfortable with plenty of room around the bed, good lighting, good WiFi, we were asked what we would like for breakfast with 2 options and at what time (9am) and there was a coffee set-up near our room to make our own press coffee in the morning before breakfast and very friendly hostess.

We had such a good visit and a needed rest. The quiet was bliss; the queen bedroom suite most accommodating; the beds were good and the hot breakfasts delicious and varied. Thanks for the hospitality Alana! We'll be sure to return to the Queen Regent on our next visit to Rosebud.

Our ladies group stayed two nights in the basement of this B & B. The twin beds were quite comfortable but not the queen bed. There were very poor quality towels supplied and clean ones never supplied. There was one roll of toilet tissue for 4 ladies. After searching the cupboard, 3 nearly empty rolls were located. There was a layer of dust on mirror and picture tops and lamps. The lighting was terrible and half the lightbulbs were burned out. Breakfasts were very poor with no selection. Back deck could be used, however, it was not cleaned and there were empty flower boxes hanging on the rails. There is no common area for guests to relax. The hostess was somewhat friendly but not very engaging.

My mom was visiting from Ontario so I decided to take her to Rosebud for their dinner theatre. We stayed at the Queen Regent. We were both very disappointed in the room, uncomfortable beds, unclean, tables appeared very dusty. The most disappointing was the hostess, was actually quite rude and unwelcoming to us after 2 attempts to check in, ringing doorbell and knocking on the door with no answer. We finally met the hostess after the show, and she was very defensive, and asked us what we wanted for breakfast, "lemon loaf?" I asked if we had any choices and she agreed to making us eggs, although I don't believe she wanted to. While eating our breakfast she didn't engage in any conversation with us, just disappeared to a family room. We felt very unwelcome and I will not be staying there again. Big disappointment and my moms first experience at a bed and breakfast, not good!

Clean, friendly, welcoming. And after everyone settles in for the night (walls are thin), you will be amazed by how quiet it is in the hamlet of Rosebud. The reason that I don't give this a higher review is that there is no common room or living room where one can meet other guests, although that does happen at breakfast.

My husband and I had a comfortable stay here after meeting up with friends for dinner and Doubt at the Rosebud Theatre. Breakfast was delicious - French toast made with home made bread, fruit, juice, tea, really good coffee, etc. Thank you, Alana!

I stayed with a friend and our hostess was very nice and accommodating. She treated us like family! We stayed in the Queen A room with private bath. The entire home was spotless, the breakfast was delicious and the other guests were very nice. The cost was very reasonable and the Theatre was a short walk away. I highly recommend this B&B !!!

Great stay and breakfast I will be back. I wanted to keep this brief. However TripAdvisor wants me to use 200 words to describe my stay and so I will prattle on until I reach the magical review number of 200 characters.

My husband and I enjoyed an extended stay at the Queen Regent; Alana was a courteous and obliging hostess in her well-kept character home. We stayed in the spacious Queens Quarters with an en suite bathroom. It was nice to have all the space, comfy arm chairs, benches for suitcases, amenities of home. Breakfast was delicious, coffee/tea was always available. The hamlet of Rosebud was peaceful; there were artists, actors, friendly tourists walking around. Rosebud is an Experience!!

Run by a true artist. Beautifully decorated and good food and a very talented owner!! The decor changes every year, fresh and clean, friendly and in a lovely little village . Uniquely decorated and nice stonework and tiling all done by the owner.
