Detailed Reviews
We were very surprised by the updated interior. The exterior and parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, but the room was clean and updated. There is a small kitchenette area, which comes in handy when travelling through and making a stop at this motel.

Absolutely terrible.
S**t stained toilet, dirty sink, dirty mirror, garbage in the garbage can.
We booked two nights two months in advance. Three weeks prior to stay tried to cancel one night. No refunds given. Yet when we checked in their cancellation policy clearly states 24 hours notice required to avoid charges. We have yet to get a refund. Customer service was awful. We will be Contacting our credit card company.

Stayed here for three nights with a friend when we took a road trip to see the Great Sandhills!
Was pleasantly surprised by this little motel, and we really enjoyed our stay.
Pros:
- nice kitchenette with a stove, fridge, sink, and the basics so we could cook our own meals
- communal barbecue and picnic table for hanging out and grilling outside
- satellite tv for rainy evenings
- close to the Big 10-4 burger stand and everything else in town (Leader is pretty tiny)
- room to park my big rig (not that I have one, but there was definitely room)
- less than a 30 minute drive to the Great Sandhills
- room was very clean
- staff were courteous and friendly
Cons:
- beds could be a bit comfier, but no major complaints
- headboards were a bit dinged up and peeling
- wifi was slow, but useable
Overall I’d recommend this motel for it’s nice staff, handy kitchenette, and great proximity to local tourist stuff.
