Great selection of food and great quality, portion size was big, only managed main course as everyone was full with what they had for main course. Only problem we had one of our party asked for a pint of cola and ended up with more ice than cola, when they said to the waiting staff they said that every glass...

Wanted a hotel roughly halfway between Glasgow/Edinburgh...BIG MISTAKE to choose the Coachman. Having been on the go since 5am, done a a long days work then checked in at 21:50 we wanted to relax, chill and have a quiet drink. Went down to the bar, however the chance of conversation was cancelled out by the extremely loud music on offer....

Food is usually exceptional. We had the sharing platter to start and they kindly changed the BBQ chicken wings for more southern fried chicken as neither of us are keen, it was great and quite filling. I ordered the chicken fajitas for my main, it was more just veg than chicken, the salsa was bitter tasting and the cheese was...

Great simple food, and a lovely atmosphere. Really helpful friendly staff. Myself, my fiancé and our two kids have been going for years. Always walk out the place full and happy. Pub grub at its best! Would definitely recommend!

Couldn't have asked for more. Went here as a mid project lunch with 6 workmates and myself. Great menu choices. Real traditional, homely choices, perfect for a cold January day!!! 3 of my friends had the macaroni cheese, said it was delicious!! I had the chicken fajitas, which were absolutely gorgeous! Another friend had the fish and chips, again DELICIOUS!...

I ordered the expensive burger at £13.50. Very tasty but it was served on a 10 inch square chopping board which was too small to allow the burger to be eaten without difficulty. The chips were in a small bucket with ample coleslaw but I had to place the chips on the table to allow room to eat the food....

Room was small and tired, but clean. Worst thing was the kareoke/disco that started up before 10pm and went on past midnight. It was loud enough to be able to recognise each song played. Our room also faced the road so we were treated to the loud shouts of the drunken regulars leaving the venue. DON'T stay here if you...
