Looking for somewhere to have a pre-Christmas lunch I booked a table for two for myself and my daughter.. Firstly only one Turkey lunch was available so my daughter opted for the Venison Pie. I had the Turkey.. So disappointed, a huge plate of food - the first thing I saw was a dark chocolate brown coloured 'yorkshire pudding' the...

New years Eve we were booked into The Bathurst Arms North Cerney for lunch.Unfortunately there was a chimney fire and lunch was off!A very nice girl named Polly recommended The Inn @Fossebridge and kindly phoned and was able to book us a lunchtime table. We are very glad she did,a warm welcome followed by good food in an atmospheric room hit...

We stayed here as part of a party of ten, over two nights. I've scored it a "5". That doesn't mean everyone would consider everything to be perfect, so I'll get the possible negatives out of the way first. The rooms are somewhat dated, so if you want everything modern and perfect, the accommodation may not suit you. Having said...

We visited the Fossebridge Inn for lunch so cannot comment on the accommodation. The staff were welcoming and the bar area was warm and comfortable. We decided to have the two-course Christmas lunch for £19.95 and both of us selected turkey for our main course. My starter of pate and toast was fine. The main course however was a bit...

We visited again with our dog and all had a wonderful stay. We were accommodated in the Fossebridge, Room 2, a charming room with a four poster bed. Lovely views of the lake and rear of the hotel. We enjoyed a superb lunch of prawns and smoked salmon, followed by Roast Lamb with all the trimmings and finished off with...

Where to start ......... We had booked to stay in Winchcombe for our 15th wedding anniversary at a place we had been to before to eat albeit not stayed overnight and had arranged for our son and his wife who live fairly near there to join us for dinner as it was his birthday. We stopped at the Inn at...

The Inn at Fossebridge is a lovely old fashioned pub in the middle of the Cotswolds with a large garden with a lake, ducks and swans. The Sunday lunch was very good, with a choice of lamb, chicken or beef, although they had ran out of beef, but they did allow us to have a steak from their evening menu...

Lovely atmospheric location in the Cotswolds, made even better the welcome of the owners. The Sunday roast was the best we have had in the region (and we have eaten at many pubs/restaurants in the Cotswolds). Very generous portions and excellent quality. We will ldefinitely be returning as this was a great find.

Hmmmm.... looked good; staff were either friendly, or distant. Food... 'homemade' pies on this lunchtime visit, were iffy quality-wise; the veg (bar my chips) should not have left the kitchen. Unfortunately, a below average experience.
