Stayed for five days at the end of a touring holiday, hoping for a luxurious finish to the hols but found it so odd we didn't know what to think. You could write pages about place but not all good. The setting is extraordinary, built straight into the hillside, and our room was very nice overlooking the pool. But the... More

When friends come to visit us we often make use of this Hotel's Spa Facility and follow that with dinner in the main residents dining room. We always aim to book the Spa for 17.00 with a table in the dining room booked for 19.30. A few pointers for those who do not know The Grand Hotel: Parking: plenty of... More

Grand hotel is in a magic place with thermal bath. The setting is beautiful in the green mountains and the spa has great potential but it was lousy organized! So was the handling of check in and breakfast orders too. Overall nice anyway.

We visited this old-fashioned spa/resort hotel for a couple of days relaxation but were rather confused about what spa and other facilities were available to overnight guests. Very little (and rather unhelpful) literature was available to help us. The main source of business here is for singles and couples undergoing 'the cure' - usually for three weeks at a time... More

After reading some of the reviews we were a little unsure of what we would find, but we were pleasantly surprised. Although we (in our mid 50s) were the youngest people there, we were very happy with the accommodations and the amenities and everyone we interacted with was professional and most were smiling. The beds were comfortable, our room was... More

We really enjoyed our stay and the amazing surroundings. The staff was very helpful, and this is a hotel that we will return to next time we are in that region. The rooms were excellent and clean, and the view from our room was second to none.

Very nice house and architectonic structures, reminds you of 'the good old days' of traveling. But our impression was that most of the guests are there on rehabilitation, so the overall atmosphere is more one of a sanatory and less one of a (grand) hotel.

Honestly, I chose this hotel because the price was right, it had a great pool, and there was not much else to do. The aim was to have a good rest, and maybe a spa treatment or two. I had travelled to France from Australia for a work conference in Toulouse and had brought my daughter along as a treat... More

But its defenitely worth a visit, beautiful surroundings, and fair prices :-) The spa area is big, and very nice. The dinner restaurant was really really nice, good wines and amazing food, definitely worth a visit

Stunning setting, yet the hotel is stuck in a weird time warp. The entrance foyer is very smart - zen-like. However immediately outside the front entrance there are cigarette buts littering the floor, and used coffee cups left on the tables for more than three hours that we noticed. The rooms have been nicely refurbished, but the corridors and spa... More
