Checked in just as it got dusk and the only sound was the local owl greeted us 'welcome'. Having driven a long way, we declined a welcome cuppa, so we were delivered creamed scones instead. Priceless!

Lovely food! Especially the raspberry and nougat semi freddo. My wife and I enjoyed the veggie options, although the beef and lamb are what they are best known for. Pauline is especially welcoming - thank you for such a lovey wedding anniversary celebration - wow!!
Lovely setting. Accommodation excellent. Food superb. Hosts brilliant. Greeted with a smile, cups of tea, and jam and fresh cream scones. Very comfortable king size bed. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
