Stumbled across this beautifully presented and maintained hotel purely by chance. Stunning furniture, lovely comfortable rooms, quaint features, great breakfast. Nicky (the owner) couldn't have been more helpful - full of recommendations for the area, if we wanted them. Everything done so elegantly, with great style, but equally not too overpowering. We would return.

Sehr sauber. Gutes...

What a lovely surprise stay. A randomly chosen hotel for a wedding we were attending. Nicola is an amazing hostess and literally couldn't do enough for us, including organising all our taxis and even arranging for my horrid linen suit to be ironed. Beautiful room, beautiful grounds, great food, we wanted for nothing. Thanks for making our weekend perfect. Guy...

The sign outside says: "Confort et Charme". This handsome hotel has both. Our room was enormous, charmingly furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. What we had planned as an overnight stop turned into a very pleasant five day stay with loads of useful advice and tips from the enthusiastic English proprietor. An ideal base from which to explore this beautiful...

Charming, quintessentially French property tastefully appointed with a very comfortable, homey feel. The rooms are large (unusual for French hotels) and ours overlooked the garden and patio which we loved. Our room had a large bathroom as well (also unusual in France!) There is a dining room and sitting / lounge area, patio and sunroom and are all delightful. The...

The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a good location for sight seeing. Nicola made us very welcome with an English cup of tea on arrival and suggested sev eral local tours which we found interesting. The hotel has a quiet relaxed ambience which we enjoyed. My granddaughter was facinated with our "princess" bed. We would recommend this...

Also the access at the center of Thiviers is easy. The rooms are very quiet and the service is cheerful. Actually; it makes a stay in Thiviers very...

We stayed here in May after discovering the hotel a year earlier and were not disappointed. The service is excellent and the hosts are very welcoming making you feel at home from the start of your stay Nothing was too much trouble including the (short notice) production of a home cooked meal which was delicious and typically French. The authentic...

We had an excellent stay. Very amiable staff. The accomodation had all the necessary amenities and was quite luxurious. The hotel is located in an ideal town to facilitate a base for travel to all the local tourist and heritage sites. The town itself is quaint with lots of eateries, Saturday market, cinema and lots of shops. All in all...

“I was unaware of any traffic noise as the rooms are double glazed;the station is 2 minutes away.Cars can drive directly to the back of the hotel to a small court yard which has a ramp to lead into the hotel if there are guests with mobility needs. Also the 2 rooms which look onto this courtyard are specially adapted for the disabled but also perfect for the able -bodied.”
