Went for a one night 'getaway' on their dinner, bed and breakfast deals although we only live 20 minutes away. Food and service excellent with a good choice on all their menus with reasonable prices for decent wines.Rooms comfortable, if a little small. Not a problem for one night stay. Very easy access for walking on the beach at Camber...

Had a great travelzoo deal for a two night break with dinner on one night. Having checked the hotel on tripadvisor I wasn't expecting a five star resort and everything was exactly as I had hoped, if not a little better. Love the driftwood chic theme throughout, bedrooms smart and stylish, dining room decor very appealing, comfy beds and nice...

We stayed for one night on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The location is perfect being right next to the beach and close to Rye. Our room was big and comfortable and plenty warm enough. The staff were brilliant throughout, helpful and friendly without being overbearing. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious; all three course fresh...

I thnk we paid £99 for DBB for two of us with an internet deal. We've been before for lunch when it was 'The Place on the Beach' but have never stayed. Obviously it would be nicer to stay in the summer when the beach was more appealing but no doubt they don't need to run offers then! The whole...

Our stay from begining to end was brilliant. We stayed on a Sunday and included in our rate was a 3 course meal. The staff were attentive as soon as we arrived. The room was lovely and toasty and very comfortable. Dinner was heaven on a plate and the chocolate martini's they made off menu for me were to die...

Stayed here for one night on a Travelzoo deal. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Our room (standard double) was light and airy. Food was very good. I would return. There isn't much at all in Camber but its a good spot to explore from. Rye is lovely and well worth visting.

We stayed here several years ago when it was called 'The Place'. We were pleasantly surprised with the new decor. The receptionist was very welcoming and took us to our room straight away. it was well equipped and the bathroom, though on the small side, was immaculate and looked quite new. The furniture is made from recycled wood, and adds...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to our coastal restaurant with rooms, across the road from the dunes of Camber Sands and beautiful sandy beach beyond. Inspired by the coastal motels you might find in California, we're a calm and relaxing hideaway from the stresses and strains of modern life. We have 20 amazing bedrooms all decorated with an eye to the Hamptons and serve great food using almost exclusively locally sourced fresh ingredients. In 2016 we were included in The Times 'Coolest Beach Hotels - No. 4', The Mirror's 'Top 10 Seaside Hotels in the UK' and Squaremeal's 'UK's Best 100 Restaurants'. The private coastal garden incorporates mini secluded decks behind all the Garden and Luxury Garden rooms and is also home to The Beach Hut, where guests can enjoy relaxing massages and lovely facials after a day on the beach using ethical and natural health and beauty products that are exclusively blended in the UK. ... more   less
